RHOC newest housewife Heather Dubrow sure has a lot to say about Alexis. She dedicated her last blog to explain her beef with the housewife and says she has given up on her!
“Listen, life is short. Going around being annoyed with people and not speaking is so ridiculous. I was with Terry and the kids the other night at the circus. We were having an amazing time at the pre-show. As we were walking out I saw Alexis and Jim with their kids. My stomach turned. Completely awkward, and honestly, not a way I’d like to go through life.
If you saw the after show of WWHL last week when I was on I answered a lot of questions about what has transpired between me and Alexis.
The part that struck me the most was that at the reunion when during lunch, I came in to offer her some Champs and we spoke. Then, when we were done (many, many grueling hours later) we spoke again. We had this great talk. Alexis then texted me an apology for her part in our troubles, and I texted her back something equally apologetic for the way things had gone down in Costa Rica. I was very hopeful that we could have another start. A few days later she made some nasty remarks about me and my restaurant and hinted that there were other things she had held back at the reunion.
I’ve always told Alexis, I don’t deal in rumor. I comment on what I see and what I feel. It wasn’t nice to give an interview like that — especially after our recent talk. That’s when I decided I couldn’t have a relationship with her. I don’t trust her. Alexis is not a bad person. I just don’t trust her with my friendship. It’s too hard. Everything you say seems to get twisted. This was the final blow for me. She had just thanked me for not allowing people to discuss Jim and his past business dealings, etc. She turned around and started maligning my business.
There is no rule that says you have to be friends with everyone. Unfortunately, I don’t see a future of a relationship between me and Alexis. I wish she had taken the high road in that interview and just said — we are working on things. Or, when asked about my business or my life outside the show, just said “I don’t know about those things,” which is what I always say when asked about Jim and Alexis’ past business and monetary issues. Not my business, let them speak for themselves.
So, in light of the fact that we were trying to start fresh, I now understand she won’t let
that happen.
I harbor no ill will towards Alexis and her family. I’m sad that it has gotten to this place.
Meanwhile, I’m glad the season is over. It has been positively exhausting for all of us. I think reality TV is fascinating. Exploring relationships. The hard part is we have to have an opinion about each other. I’ve tried to be as honest with everyone as possible. Sometimes it was received well, sometimes not so much.
I’m certainly not a perfect person by any stretch of the imagination. I’d like to think I’ve learned something this season, about myself and my relationships.
I want to thank you all for allowing me and my family into your homes each week. We are grateful for your support and your (usually) constructive criticism.”
Heather has been hard on Alexis all season so I don’t get why Heather is so sensitive when Alexis makes a comment that means nothing. Heather bashes Alexis week over week via twitter. Question of the day: Do you want to see Heather return?!
