Did it occur to you Kathy that Teresa now has heard your husband talk about drowning her and burning her at the stake that she might be hurt all over again? You could have said that is my cousin and stop. Your mom did and so has your sister.
I always remember Teresa looking at you at the reunion for help because you are her family, and she was so set up. You didn’t help her when she needed you. I think Teresa might keep a distance relationship with you because of her parents. The trust is gone. Forever.

I think the reason being is because Kathy was more worried about fitting in with the group, instead of making things better. 3 came on with an agenda because they were sick of her getting all of the notoriety and they wanted in on the action. They threw her under the bus so they could get ahead.. for money.

Well i sort of agree, i believe he’s just joking but they pick the worst of what he says to be on the show. I am sure everyone who watches or has spent time with Rich realizes he has no class, insults woman, uses foul language, and is a sexist jerk. Thinking back to all the interviews Kathy and all the rest of them made after Season 3, if I were Teresa I would move on and not bother with any of them anymore.
Kathy questioned Teresa’s motive instead of just being there for her. Then Kathy said she didn’t want to hurt her new friendships with Caroline and Jac. Really ?? Teresa wasn’t asking her to not be friends with them. Why do the other ladies always make issues out of non-issues? I’m sick of all of them except Teresa.
I agree with you. Since they were filming while S3 was airing those interviews had not yet been done. So this lunch happened before all the crap that Kathy, Mel, & Caro put out during their let’s take T down media tour. If I were Teresa I’d say good riddance to all of them. Before this season started airing Teresa promoted Kathy’s cocktail on Twitter, wished Victoria a Happy B-day via Twitter, and even promoted Melissa’s horrid music. But I can see why she would not want to speak to any of them after watching all the crap they say & do.
Actually that is quite a statment: she didn’t want to hurt her new friendships……normal people don’t usually care if someone they like is friends with someone they don’t like as long as they don’t have to be together. Kathie has seen first hand what the Manzo/Lauritas are capable of – and joined them — and doesn’t want to be receiving the same treatment Teresa has. I think she has proven us all right, despite their protestations as to how nice they all think they are.
Teresa is only sucking up to her family because everyone else on the show has dumped her. Kathy, not being stupid, knows this. And even under THOSE circumstances, Teresa couldn’t even pretend to like her; she was hardly even polite.
Who wants to take bets on how long it takes Teresa to take back her acceptance of Melissa’s apology? I’ll bet she’s back to yammering about Danielle by next week.
When you feel isolated you turn to family, it’s human nature. What isn’t human nature is for family to look for a motive they can twist to fit their needs.
T was attacked, so what did she do, turn to the only friend that accepts her for who she is, and her family who SHOULD do the same.
No matter how much family may bicker and disagree, when the chips are down THEY ARE there for you. Sadly T’s family would rather kick her while she is down.

I agree that Teresa seemed to be running back because of her issues with everyone else…to me that looked kind of fake and needy on her. However, sometimes if you look at Kathy in the face it seems like she feels guilty about something and I think it’s bc she realizes what they are doing and it is wrong. Everyone seems to be downplaying what Melissa did and blaming Teresa for the Danielle mess but clearly on my TV Melissa was in the wrong and Teresa did not bring Danielle back into their lives over a brief twit. These people all see what they want to see.
Kathy appears ‘guilty” because while she is filming this season 3 is airing. She is, for the first time, seeing how she appears un-loyal andhateful towards teresa. She is seeing that both her and her husband are coming off mean, jealous and spiteful so shes walking a fine line trying to protect her image while bringing Teresa down at the same time.
I think kathy is truly sweet and doesn’t want to burn any bridges. She strikes me as the kind of person who doesn’t want to hurt anyone and i believe this show is too much for her to handle. Seeing as she isn’t pushing a product or anything i bet she would go back if she could

Not just, and I agree with that, but I don’t understand how teresa wronged any of them so bad that when she apologized over ten times, ten different ways, NONE of them just accepted it and let it go?? They preach about family and love, yet not one of those adults, who continue to treat Teresa horribly ,forgive, move on, and keep it real. They who do wrong never apologize for anything on this show, but they make Teresa and petty issues from 2 years ago keep being the plot..
Some families are like that. They secretly wish for the most successful of them to fail so that they can feel better about themselves. They are jealous of their family member bc it shines a spotlight on how badly the rest of them are doing. I see it all the time. It’s ugly in adults, that jealousy and excitement when someone doing well “falls”. Joe Go said it from the get go, they want to see T fall. That way they can say, “See! She’s not that great! We are just as great!”. Disgusting and sad.

I wonder in the future how many new friends Kathy will be able to have. How many will not be able to trust her because of the simple fact that she came on a show to hurt a family member. Or knowing how annoying she is with her constant she is pure of heart smiles at you then as soon as your back is turned she has something not nice to say.
Of course you can always start out not being nice her and hope she brings you a yummy dessert.

Kathy, you said your love for tre never changed over the years…. if you talking and being party to people who are talking badly about her behind her back is your kind of love then in my opinion you can keep your love noone in their right mind would want it.
This show would have been so much better if they brought on Kathy & Melissa to battle Caroline & Jac with Teresa. Since bullying is the issue du jour now, how many people actually find joy in watching four people attack one person? Seriously?
I think Kathy would have come out a lot better if she stood up to Caroline and had Teresa’s back. While I’m not a huge Richie fan, her kids are definitely easier to take than Caroline’s. Since she’s a cook too, I could honestly see her with a Dessert cook book right about now instead of shilling that red velvet drink.
Kathy bet on the wrong horse, bringing drama with Caroline would have probably netted her more screen time and her own storyline outside of Teresa. Plus Rosie seems to be a fan fave.
I just don’t get the NJ housewives (with the exception of Teresa). They willingly contributed and continue to contribute to Teresa being the star of the show and have made themselves expendable. At least on the other franchises they are smarter about promoting themselves and refusing to film with people because they know that hurts the other person’s ability to promote their products.
They can’t refuse to film w/ T cause they have nothing else to offer! Nobody thought it was funny that the Manzo boys threw ham at each other, nobody cared that Lauren was FAT, Mcan’t sing to save her life, this wasn’t cinemax at night nobody wanted to see any posion being shot across the room, Jac kicked Ashlee’s a** out and that was getting over played toofor how many seasons were they going to jam down everyones throat that she is a spoiled brat, The Walkiles they are barely on the show now cause they are boring.

Sigh, Kathy she seems sweet and then she’ll open her mouth let out a string of swear words that would make a sailor blush and then says…but I just want everyone to be friends. She has cursed Teresa out more times than I can say. She is sly in her digs and then claims to not have said anything. She’s not that good.
In her talking heads she says, I’m hurt that Caroline and Jac don’t want to be Teresa’s friend but she doesn’t do anything to help make that happen. She came on the show in a sneaky way and that is just wrong. If she really cared about her cousin, REALLY cared she would have handled it differently. The fact that she wants to keep up more than a casual relationship with Caroline and Jac after seeing what they are capable of shows that she thought she knew which side her bread was buttered on…she was wrong.
Her husband is just rank, and the way he talks about Teresa and her family is really awful. She supports his arrogant, ignorant comments by saying he was only kidding. I’m not saying that Teresa might not give it right back to him, but I’ve NEVER heard her disrespect him like he’s disrespected her on camera.
Only she NEVER does the cursing to T’s face! It’s always behind her back to a third party. PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. And when T gets assertive with her, she looks like a deer in headlights. I hate the whole act of “I’m so sweet and non-threatening, look how sweet I am with my soft voice!”. Lol. It’s ridiculous. She is an adult and should handle herself accordingly. Confront people when you think they are crossing your boundaries, do it firmly and assertively. She can’t even do that! She looks like she is going to cry the minute someone talks in more than a whisper to her! She has NO idea how to handle conflict.
Remember when her son said he was going to drink on Fridays and Saturdays when he is a Junior and Senior in High School? I laughed so hard at her meek little reaction. He says, “you know I’m going to!”… and she’s all, “No, I don’t know that”, but can barely even look him in the eyes! He’s a kid! My gawd, what is she so damn afraid of? She’s pathetic, and if she is as sweet as she wants us to believe, then she needs to get away from the mean girls, because it doesn’t look good on her.
Oh, and ps… so TRUE about her trying to get in little digs and not being that good at it! In Punta Cana, she made that little snide remark about detaching from your children if you run a restaurant, and then all snotty with her wiggly eyes said, “So, lots of luck with that!”… then sat there and tried her damnedest to pretend that she didn’t mean anything by it! Agree. My friends will ask me once if I need anything if they know I’m struggling… and that’s it. They don’t berate me, ask me in front of others, they just put it out there that they are there for me if I need it. That’s it, end of story. I do the same for them.

She’s so fake. I’m sure someone in T’s family has an actual personality, but none of the others would go against their blood. Yep. I would LOVE to see Mama Gorga get more screen time, she seems awesome! She is not afraid of confrontation, and handling it like an adult. When she went straight to Kathy and told her that she should be ashamed of herself, I was like, “Rock on!”… lol. She wasn’t scared, she wasn’t intimidated… she knows what is right and what is wrong.
And, the fact that the senior Gorgas have so little to do with their ONLY son tells me everything that I need to know. I do not believe that T can influence them, they are obviously strong and independent people. They are immigrants, who came with nothing, and made their own way in a country where they didn’t speak the language… not everyone can do that. And when Papa Gorga told little Gorga that he “only thinks about” himself, I thought, yep, there is WAY more to this story than we know. Somewhere along the way, the Senior Gorgas have realized that Joey Go only thinks about himself… that’s all I need to know. If his own parents think that, why should I think any differently?

I’m in Our Nation’s Capital City, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
All of us here in Ottawa are gearing up for the Canada Day Festivities.
If you have never been to Ottawa, come visit on Canada Day, I highly recomend it, it is not to be missed.
For those that are unaware, it is held every year on July 1st, it is the Celebration of Canada’s Birthday.
The whole downtown core is one HUGE weekend long party, full of activities for all ages.
( Buskers, Cowboys, Native dancer’s,Face Painters, Aerial displays by the Snowbirds and more, 21 gun Salute, Changing of the Guards, The RCMP perform their Musical Ride and their Sunset Ceremony, Canadian Singers and Bands on the main stage, Boat Floatilla’s on the Canal and on the Ottawa River directly behind Parliment Hill, (this is where we watch the fireworks, from on our boat), and much, much more.)
The FINALE is a MASSIVE fireworks display on Parliment Hill.

La Familia – the family – is the foundation of Italian culture. The mother is always the center of the Italian family, this extends even when she is the “grandmother” she is the core of the family, the matriarch. Italian mothers wrongly or rightly normally favor their sons. Daughters are expected to look after their parents as they get older, but that really doesn’t change the fact that sons are normally on a pedestal.
Looking at T’s family, the fact her parents have little to do with her brother, there is a huge rift and a definite reason for it. For a son to lose favor from a mother, the son has to have either done something to embarrass the family or has done something to damage the family.
My mother has one brother, and no matter how much she did for my grandmother, who she cares for as she is an invalid, her brother was still the favorite. When my uncle’s marriage broke down and he moved in with a woman who crossed the country and left behind four daughters (one of which was 18 and the other having just had a baby), not only did my grandmother not understand this woman’s values but it put a wedge between her and her son. To this day there is still resentment because my uncle didn’t RESPECT the old-school rules – family means everything and in Italian families, mothers do not leave their daughters.
This brings me to Kathy and her “old-school” and “respect” statement. Obviously there are family issues between the respected siblings (T and Kathy’s parents) that were never fixed; this was talked about last season. But traditionally, this doesn’t always mean families don’t spend time together, they do out of respect for their parents. So I can understand Kathy and T having a lot of contact when they were younger.
Something definitely changed, if you watch closely, the way that Kathy’s husband talks about T and the way they act, there is jealousy there. It happens in the best of families, but you never want to see the other family member “fall or fail” you swallow your pride and wish them well. That’s the RESPECTFUL way to deal.
I have a cousin, we were always exceptionally close until one day she did something that was not a simple forgive and leave it in the past deal. It was pretty revolting and I cut her out of my life, which was over 20 years ago.
When this cousin fell on hard times, I could have laughed and cheered that karma was finally at work, but the bottom line – she was and is family. Our relationship may not be what it was, it never will be, but I was there for her when she needed me. I know too, if the role was reversed she would have done the same.
Family doesn’t walk away during the hard times, they pull together. They protect each other, because they are the family unit. They certainly don’t take the side of a new friendship over family, that’s how we were raised. I’m Italian through and through, we have a strong sense of family no matter the adversity. Blood is thicker than water.
I don’t know what or who Kathy is, but I can tell you this much… “We’re old-school, we believe in respect.” … those words uttered from her lips are nothing but a LIE. She isn’t old-school, she has no concept of respect, and in fact she really reminds me more of a viper just waiting for an opportunity to bite.
ITA. Did you happen to watch WWHL when Joe and Teresa were on and she (I don’t remember word for word) was asked something about Kathy and Teresa said Kathy and Dirty Dick would be over their house almost every weekend. Kathy and Dirty Dick betrayed Teresa for false friends (Melissa, Caroline, and Jacqueline) and now she will pay the price. Her ventures of desserts, drinks, and whatever else she tries to do to strike it rich will fail because it has an association of betraying family. I for one are not supporting anything M,C,K, and J are hustling.

The other thing is her husband say some pretty fucked up shit that shouldn’t be taken just as a joke though. They make too many uncalled for digs. I know it looks like Tre needs to learn to take a joke but the shit the se saying aren’t funny. Oh yea Kathy need to open her eyes and realize redhead and Crazy aren’t her family (they’re barely friednds) they will turn on her ass so quick!
I could careless about Melissa and Tre making up. But I still have hope that Kathy can pull her head out all their asses and be (at least play) nice with her cousin. But that probably enter happen into redhead and Crazy leave the show!

Yeah, but she has so little immediate family here, I think that’s part of it. Unlike her, I have like 60 cousins, so it’s pretty easy for me to pick the ones that I like and avoid the ones that I don’t… lol.
