Bravo officially announced the cast for season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Tuesday, May 14!
On social media, the network shared:
“Introducing our sweet #RHOA peaches for season 16!”
Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, and Shamea Morton are all returning for season 16 of RHOA. They will be joined by Cynthia Bailey, who is returning as a friend of the housewives.
In addition, three news ladies, Angela Oak, Brittany Eady, and Kelli Ferrell, are joining the season 16 cast. It’s unclear if they will all be official peach holders or friends—only time will tell!
This means that Sheree Whitfield is officially out for season 16. Sheree has yet to comment on her departure from the franchise officially.
As we previously reported, Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross announced their exits earlier this year.
For months, Andy Cohen has teased that “wonderful casting” has been happening for season 16 of RHOA.
On top of that, Andy admitted that he’s “feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta.”
As for season 16 as a whole, Andy says fans are really going to enjoy what Bravo has been cooking up with casting.
“I said last week on the show that we’ve got wonderful casting. We’ve got some amazing new gals, and I’m feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta, so just stand by, and you will hear more. I will say there’s a lot of rumors out there that are not true about what’s to come, and you’ll hear more when there’s something to be said, but we’re so excited, and we’ve kind of been doing a dance.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in 2024.
