Erika Jayne Gets Real About Not Having Tom Girardi’s Safety Net Anymore

Erika Jayne gets emotional over moving forward in her singing career without the safety net of her estranged husband Tom Girardi and his money. Plus, the RHOBH star opens up about never getting closure from her co-stars or Tom.

In a preview for Wednesday’s all-new episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika Jayne has an emotional sitdown with her therapist where she acknowledges that she will never get the closure she needs from her estranged husband, Tom Girardi.

On top of that, Erika admits that she is nervous about her upcoming Las Vegas residency and not having Tom’s millions as a safety net anymore.

The Pretty Mess singer also says her feelings were hurt when the women of RHOBH were “quiet as church mice” when she announced that she won the appeal over her $750k diamond earrings.

“[A lot of] good stuff. Like everything that I didn’t think was possible. It’s happening,” Erika Jayne said when asked by her therapist how everything is going for her.

“It feels like yesterday, you were saying to me, like, my life is over. In one fell swoop, you lost your marriage, you lost your financial security, you lost friends,” Erika’s therapist replies, noting that she was “hopeless” and “afraid” of her future not too long ago.

Erika Jayne agrees, pointing out: “For quite a while, and now I have this residency in Las Vegas. So it’s good pressure now. And I have a lot of people that I need to make proud.”

“And who have invested a lot of money in you,” the therapist notes. “Your used to having your husband and unlimited funds and resources. It’s easy to forget that Tom did support you before things go really bad.”

This is when EJ admits she’s afraid of disappointing her investors and fans because she’s used to having Tom’s unlimited funds behind her in case anything went wrong.

“I really want to surpass any sort of expectation but I also am a little afraid to be quite honest with you,” Erika confesses, adding, “Good or bad that man encouraged me to be here.”

“You can take risks when you have someone in your corner. Tom was the saftey net so I could walk on the high wire,” Erika Jayne continues in her confessional. “Now, I no longer have the net. It can get really scary out here. Don’t look down. Just keep going forward.”

The RHOBH star then switches the conversation to her legal issues, telling her therapist that “My legal things are quiet. Not completely wrapped up but better.”

“I won a nice appeal the other day,” she says before a flashback of her telling the RHOBH cast the legal victory plays across the screen.

Erika admits she was upset that the ladies didn’t celebrate her win and instead acted as “quiet as church mice.”

Erika, Crystal, Garcelle, and Sutton attend Dorit’s Homeless Not Toothless gala on RHOBH.

“We went on this girl’s trip to Spain, and Sutton was there to release her friend’s ashes, and she asked us what we are releasing and what we are letting go of here. It comes my turn and, of course, I’m mad. I’m here to let this go in representation of all the hurt that I feel many of you have contributed to,” she explains, admitting that she has “unresolved” feelings.

However, she adds: “I want to release what I have gone through with these women in the past. But at the same time, I think I’ll never get what I’m looking for.”

Didn't Erika Jayne become obsolete in December with her last show? The criminal at large is Erika Girardi.

You drape your body in Chanel and can't afford waterproof mascara? Chanel makes that.

I think that photo was from years ago when she first shoved out tears when it started, wasn't it? I remember people saying she didn't wear waterproof mascara on purpose.

I never turned to my fellow employees to get a lot of sympathy when things went poorly in my life. Why does Erika think her fellow employees owe her anything more than showing up to work with her and doing their job?

Kunty, if you're listening (and we know you are); first of all, your show flopped. Secondly, you're too old to be a pop star. Thirdly, you're too old to find another sugar daddy to financially back you. Fourthly, you're too old ... oh wait I already said that.

What Erika keeps off the show and that Bravo allows it is amazing and she wants apologies???: - the entire Marco/Marco costume designer scandal she led (see Hulu show), abuse of power, it’s appalling and has completely been kept of Bravo - owe millions in unpaid taxes - has delayed 9 lawsuits against her still in the courts for 4 years now. Never brings that up on Bravo either! - has not paid back a dime of the $20 million in loan she received for her Erika Jayne Company from Thomas Law firm in 2019 right before it went BK that was clearly client settlement money at the end. What one of the lawsuits is about how she neglects to bring up. Where is the money Erika? - Erika met with 4 or 5 victims out of 80 to 100 and has made it appear they are all on her side, uh no. - Erika is also misrepresenting the earring case as it is not even settled yet by the courts. Why is it so hard for her to understand that people stand with Victims that were victimized twice and that Erika benefited off of many people’s money and she should at least acknowledge that and apologize. Maybe Erika did not know it all, but she sure knew some because the lawsuits cases of clients suing Thomas firm were in the newspapers 2-3 year at least before she divorced Tom, and clients said they called the house repeatedly begging for their money. She had to know something. She also talked about it a year earlier on WWHL.The lies and pity party need to stop and some contrition that she lived on these people money should take place! All denial is just ludicrous.

Yes yes yes to all of this and one more very telling thing I've noticed. She never outright calls Tom a liar and a thief and a terrible person who stole from his victims while outright lying to her to distance herself from him beyond the point of no return. She says she didn't know, she said she didn't see the books, she said she THINKS he lied, she said this and that. And Erika, don't tell me you cAn'T CoMmEnT bEcAuSe It'S aN oNgOiNg LaWsUiT. Please. She uses the entire thing as a fucking STORYLINE on an internationally televised TV show. Erika says what Erika wants to say. Perhaps there's another more tangible reason she doesn't want to disparage Tom too heavily on-record? https://media3.giphy.com/media/94EQmVHkveNck/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

lol. Shot up Erika. You’re are a thief that should be in jail.

Thomas should also absolutely be in jail. The documentary showed he had been stealing clients money since the 1990’s and had gotten away with it. He had politicians, judges and nearly the entire California Bar covering up all his misdeeds for years and on a payroll. It is bad when a lawyer has a few complaints into the CA Bar, ..by 2018 Thomas had more than 200 and he still had his license to practice law!!! It should have been pulled when it reach 10, but he had everyone on his payroll. Just corruption top to bottom. The sad part is most of the judges still have strong relationships with Tom so who knows if any of the lawsuits against Thomas or Erika will really come to any justice at all. Erika has been able to delay every one of her lawsuits for 4 years, so that should tell you right there they still can pull many strings.

Democratic dirty politicians and appointed judges.

Well they're in California so they're definitely Democrats.
Snarky Enigma February 15, 2024 - 2:31 pm
Yep, Girardi & Keese were big $upporters and held huge fundraisers for CA Dems and Biden.
