RHOBH: Erika Jayne Apologizes to Garcelle Beauvais’s Son Jax

Garcelle Beauvais confronts Erika Jayne for attacking her son on RHOBH

RHOBH star Erika Jayne ends her beef with Garcelle Beauvais’ son Jax after apologizing to the 16-year-old and admitting: “I was totally out of line.”

On Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Erika Jayne FINALLY made peace with Garcelle Beavuais’ 16-year-old son Jax at a screening for the actress’ Lifetime movie “Black Girl Missing.”

Jax approached Erika, with the aid of Crystal Minkoff, to clear the air once and for all.

“I just wanted to come and let you know that everything is OK,” the high school student told the Pretty Mess author, who immediately apologized for her past behavior.

“Well, I apologize from the bottom of my heart,” she said. “I was totally out of line. I have said this to your mother and I’m really happy you get to hear it from me. So, please accept my apology.”

Jax replied,  “Of course.” Erika thanked the teenager for accepting her apology and noted that she was “glad’ they could patch things up after she cursed him out on the last season of RHOBH.

“I appreciate that,” Erika added. “Thank you.”

In her confessional interview, Erika praised Jax for handling the situation with such class and grace.

“What a class act this young man is to walk up and say, ‘Hey, no hard feelings,’” Erika said before complimenting Garcelle’s job as a mother. “Garcelle, you’ve done a beautiful job.”

After Jax and Erika buried the hatchet, the 16-year-old informed his mom of the news. Garcelle Beauvais had a surprising or perhaps not-so-surprising reaction to the news.

“I wish Erika had been the one to approach Jax because she’s the adult,” Garcelle said in her confessional, noting that Erika was “the one in the wrong.”

She added, “But I’m glad Jax felt confident enough to go talk to her himself.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Thoughts on Erika’s apology to Jax? Should Erika have approached Jax and not the other way around? Sound off in the comments!

Psst ... hey Garcy; here's a little secret; your sons don't HAVE to be involved (on the show). YOU are the one using them for (boring) story lines, so you have to take the bad with the good. Kunty couldn't win, and handled the situation well.

I think she is wrong for having them on the show but since they are, I think her scenes with them this season were relatable and therefore more pleasant to watch than the rest of the very annoying scenes with the witches. The witches that ruin the show are Kyle, Erika, Dorit and not just Rinna. I find the contrived fighting, gang ups, etc, boring because it is contrived to some extent and predictable.

I like Garcelle and appreciate her bitchery, and I do agree that she is more relatable than the others, but she's just as shrewd as the others and using this show as a platform for invaluable promotion. In reality, I don't think she would piss a one of them if they were on fire (and that includes the TV friendship with Sutton).

She is shrewd and when the show is over, she won't be in touch with any and can't blame her.

True that ... but that is pretty much true with all of them ... "TV friends" at best.

Of course Erika should have (but never would) approach Jax. At least there was one adult in the room.

Not an Erika fan, but i get the idea if she had approached Jax, someone would say "You shouldn't have approached a minor child without a parent present.

No and certainly not in this case, unless it was someone who didn't watch the show. People expected her to go to him and apologize the next time she was on camera with him and she didn't.

Great job Jax. That’s character. Erika would never approach. She is too much of a liar and narcissist. She would not risk it not going her way if she approached..to her, that is a grovel which she always refuses so she waited it out of course, and then expects accolades. I have nothing for Erika who continues to make life Hell for all of Thomas’s law client victims as all the client reps and advocates agree she is purposefully dragging the case and delaying it with every law maneuver possible so the victims get as little as possible from Thomas’ estate. So let’s please stop with the Erika redemption story this season…she deserves not an ounce. Why don’t you go talk to a few of their victims, oh and not just the few cases that settled that Erika had her “boyfriend’ trot out for the media saying all the victims were good with Erika now, a handful out of 80 client settlement lawsuits- stop taking what Erika says at truth and look at the numbers and actual cases media and reality blogs and stop reporting what Erika pr people just tell you to.

Garcelle has done a good job raising her sons. I think Jax let EJ off too easily. I'm not questioning the sincerity of her apology. I just think she should have approached Jax and not the other way around. He handled it like a pro.
