Jackie Goldschneider Admits She’s Not ‘Sad’ Over Friendship With Margaret Josephs Ending: ‘Trust Got Broken’

Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Jackie Goldschneider has ZERO regrets about ending her friendship with Margaret Josephs.

“There was a trust that got broken, and I don’t know that that’s so easily repaired,” Jackie Goldschneider told Page Six at BravoCon, confirming that her friendship with Marge is OVER for good.

Jackie Goldschneider then admitted that she is not sad over the end of her friendship with Margaret.

“I’m not sad,” she said. “I think the friendship kind of came to an end, and I think everybody will see it, and they’ll understand why I’m not sad.”

Meanwhile, Margaret Josephs says her friendship fallout with Jackie Goldschneider is “sad” and “weird.”

“I feel sad about it. I think it’s sad, but I think it’s weird,” the 56-year-old told Page Six Saturday at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas. “It’s shocking.” 

She also made it clear that she’s “not taking responsibility” for the end of her friendship with Jackie Goldschneider.

“Normally, I would. I would take responsibility for something like that,” she explained. “But I feel maybe she didn’t love me as much as I thought she did.”

As for speculation that Jackie Goldschneider and Margaret Josephs‘ fallout has something to do with the 47-year-old’s recently released memoir, “The Weight of Beautiful.”

“I championed her for that book; I wanted her book to be successful. I had my own book with Simon & Schuster [that] did unbelievably well, and I want only good things for her,” the longtime RHONJ star shared. “I want good things for everybody. Even if I don’t love them, I want good things for people, you know what I’m saying? I support women unconditionally.”

“No one gets anywhere on their own. This is a team. I have a beautiful team behind me. I couldn’t be me without everybody behind me,” Margaret continued. “I think she got very offended when I said, ‘I championed you,’ and that didn’t mean anything behind it. And I think she was very offended that I said that.”

Margaret and Jackie’s friendship fallout is set to play out on season 14 of RHONJ, which will air on Bravo in 2024.

The "team" or the "champion" didn't write the book. Good for Jackie for calling out Marge. A publisher prints a book when they know they can sell it, not by whose friend you know. Marge has never championed anyone but herself. Truly self-entitled and delusional. Her true character comes out in this fight. Its weird to take credit for someone else's struggle.

Margaret requires her friends to “have her back” no matter how much she talks about them behind their back. She’s a horrible, shallow person with zero self awareness about the names she calls people when she gets mad. She says she owns it when she does that, but she doesn’t. Disheveled drug addict was one such name I recall-and none of that is true of Jennifer, no matter how much she hates her. Obviously she needs to be the queen of her social circle so she can control what they say, do or hang out with. Good for Jackie this season, maybe we will get to see a different side of her-a side that likes to have fun and not deal in gossip and feuds.

Marge is definitely the lead bully in her group and they all follow which is why Dolores said you never want to be on her bad side. Or something like that.

I would love to see Marge taken down a peg. Maybe have her words come back to bite her. So far she's dodged all bullets but that time might be coming to an end.

I agree that no one gets anywhere on their own but I don't think that Marge had Jackie's back when she got demoted. Teresa reached out to her and it looks like she makes sure Jackie's invited to events and gets camera time. So good for them.

Hmm, this reeks of fake SL for Jackie and Marge. Melissa and the felon are not speaking and therefore we won't be "treated" to their drama (praise Jesus!), so NJ producers had to come up with something, Jackie says trust was broken with Marge, and can't forgive so easily, yet she has forgiven the felon for that rumor the felon spread about her husband fooling around? That just does not make any sense, especially since she was so close to Marge and never close to the felon
