Andy Cohen says disinviting Ramona Singer from BravoCon was “the right call” after racist remarks as Avery Singer “tears up” over drama.
Ramona Singer may not have been at BravoCon 2023 but she was still a hot topic at day one of the reality TV convention.
During day one of BravoCon 2023, which is being held in Las Vegas, Andy Cohen stood by Bravo’s decision to disinvite Ramona Singer from the weekend long event following her racial slur controversy.
“Well, I mean I think listen, not to dwell on it, but I think just the events of this week led to her not being here. I think it was the right call, and period dot,” Andy told Page Six on Friday.
When asked about Ramona’s future with the network, Andy said: “Well, I mean, we already shot ‘RHONY Legacy,’ so you will see her there, yeah.”

Meanwhile, Ramona Singer’s daughter, Avery Singer “teared up” at BravoCon while talking about her mother’s absence from the convention.
“I love my mom, and I wish she could be here,” an “emotional” Avery told The Messenger Friday at BravoCon. “I know she’s so proud of us.”
When asked about her mom, the 28-year-old “took a moment to collect herself,” before responding.
“It’s a full-circle moment,” Avery said of attending BravoCon for the first time.
“I’ve been on Bravo since I was 12. I’m now 28, which is crazy. It’s my first BravoCon, so I’m excited to be here. The support and love is amazing.”
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, Ramona Singer was cut from BravoCon after using partial racial slur in a text to Page Six reporter.
In Vanity Fair‘s recent expose, they alleged that Ramona Singer allegedly used the N-word in a conversation with a black crew member during production of season 13 of the Real Housewives of New York. The RHONY OG insists that she “never” used the N-word while talking with a black crew member.
As this bombshell claim made its way around social media and the internet, Ramona attempted to clear her name, but that has seemingly backfired right in her face.
Page Six reached out to Ramona for her reaction to Vanity Fair‘s expose. While Ramona attempted to defend herself, she wound up using the racial slur once again.
“And the word I used was ‘NWord’ Not n-g…,” Ramona texted a Page Six reporter on Tuesday morning.
Hours later, Ramona’s name disappeared from the BravoCon app.
