Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga quietly fired her manager months ago amid cheating rumor that allegedly came from him.
For years, much of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast has been managed by the same man: Tom Ierna of Thomas Christian Management. He also manages RHONY star Ramona Singer.
However, it seems that in recent months, RHONJ star Melissa Gorga quietly fired Tom Ierna after learning that he allegedly spread rumors that she had an affair with Nick Barrotta.
Last year, Margaret Joseph’s former best friend, Laura Lee Jensen, told the AllAboutTRH podcast that Margaret learned of Melissa Gorga’s alleged affair from their mutual manager, Tom Ierna.
Apparently, Tom Ierna, who represented Melissa and Margaret, caught Melissa hooking up with a married man named Nick Barrotta in a car. He told Margaret immediately, who then told her best friend, Laura Lee, at the time.
Laura Lee also told the AllAboutTRH podcast that when Margaret Josephs told her about the hookup between Melissa and Nick – Margaret actually believed it happened.
Melissa denied she cheated when confronted, but the rumor ultimately came up on camera during season 13 of RHONJ.
In December 2021, Nick Barrotta was spotted at a holiday event in New York City hosted by Tom Ierna. Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs also attended the same event.
Months later, in February 2022, the rumor about Melissa making out with Nick came to light.
That same month, Louie Ruelas confronted Joe Gorga about the rumor off-camera while they weren’t filming RHONJ to warn him about Margaret Josephs. No one in the RHONJ cast, including Teresa Giudice and Louie, believed the rumor about Melissa but instead wanted to warn the Gorgas about what Margaret was saying about their marriage.
When the rumors about Melissa Gorga and Nick emerged, they both immediately unfollowed each other off Instagram and removed all images of them together, which many RHONJ fans questioned.
Then, in May 2023, the Gorgas PR team hired paparazzi to snap photos of Melissa and Joe hand in hand, meeting up with Nick Barrotta and Margaret Josephs. This was the first time these two had been spotted together since the rumor about their alleged hookup broke out. Conveniently, the photos were posted as the rumors about Melissa’s alleged cheating played out on RHONJ.
Despite Melissa kicking Tom Ierna to the curb, he continues to rep Jenn Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider, and her BFF Magaret Josephs.
Jenn Fessler recently shared an article from Spotlight about Tom Ierna. Melissa’s name was noticeably absent from Tom’s list of Real Housewives clients.
