Amber Marchese gives the AllAboutTRH podcast a glimpse of what happened behind the scenes on RHONJ and why she regrets not suing Bravo.
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Amber Marchese sat down with the AllAboutTRH podcast and spilled some major tea about her time on the show.
Amber Marchese starred in season 6 of RHONJ alongside Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dina Manzo, Teresa Aprea, and Nicole Napolitano.
The 46-year-old found herself entrenched in the drama during her time on the show, which she now claims was completely manufactured by production.
During a first responders party at Bobbi Ciasulli, Amber Marchese got into a physical altercation with twin sisters Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano.
If you remember, Amber Marchese was confronted by the twins after Melissa Gorga told them that Amber said Nicole broke up a family. The confrontation turned physical, with drinks and fists flying. Amber wound up getting a fist full of her hair pulled out by Nicole.

Now, Amber tells AllAboutTRH that production orchestrated the whole attack on her. Amber claims that production took away her car keys and wouldn’t let her and her husband, Jim Marchese, leave the party until she went down to the basement to confront the twins with Melissa Gorga.
“You know, that’s one thing I regret. I should have [gone] forward with the lawsuit. I told Jim not to do it, and Jim was like, ‘You’re being stupid. We should absolutely do it.’ I was physically attacked. And the circumstance around that whole thing, how they did it, they, they forced me down there. They would; they took away my keys. They would not let me leave. I was physically attacked. I should have sued,” Amber explained.
She continued, “They physically took my keys and were not allowed us to leave. They knew I was gonna be physically attacked because we had one security guard that was friends with us whisper in my ear. ‘Go. Just be careful when you get down there. I got your back.'”
“They knew it, and I had to go down there. It’s like; we’re here for a party. We have to do this scene. You know that’s [my] naivety. I should have been like, ‘No, I’m not going down there. That’s absolutely ridiculous.’ It was my first season, I had no clue what I was getting myself. The whole thing was awkward,” Amber added.
Amber went on to call the production team behind RHONJ “ugly” before adding that no one should give Bravo a “pass” because they know what production is doing behind the scenes.
“It’s very ugly. Production was ugly. The cast was ugly,” Amber said. “Don’t give them a pass. They’re briefed on everything. Don’t give them a pass. They are just as culpable as production.”
