Pump Rules star Ariana Madix reveals the truth behind why she’s still living with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval and claps back at haters!
Ariana Madix is clapping back over criticism that she’s still living in the same house with her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, nearly six months after their split in March 2023.
The former couple’s living situation became a hot topic again thanks to Raquel Leviss’ interview with Bethenny Frankel. On Bethenny’s Just B podcast, Raquel called out Tom and Ariana for continuing to live together despite being broken up.
“People are confused as to why they’re still living together,” Raquel told Bethenny before adding, “I actually gave Tom the key to my apartment while I was away at the Meadows [mental health facility], and he had a free place to stay and chose to stay in the house with Ariana.”
“I mean, they both can afford a place or go rent a place,” Bethenny noted, to which Raquel replied, “I don’t know. I know that a lot of his money was wrapped up in the bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, and I know that Ariana has been doing a lot of brand deals.”
“I don’t know their situation, but I do know that it really isn’t that surprising that they’re living together in my eyes because it’s been this way. They haven’t been an authentic couple, romantic, intimate,” Raquel explained.
“So it doesn’t matter. They’re roommates. It’s not as deep, and so the breakup isn’t as deep either,” Bethenny suggested. “And now seeing that [Ariana’s] doing millions of dollars in deals…”
This discussion left many Vanderpump Rules fans scratching their head and looking for answers on why Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are still living together all these months later.
After the 38-year-old announced her new book, Single AF Cocktails, on Instagram, fans began to question Ariana about her living situation while also accusing her of “exploiting” and “cashing in” on Scandoval.
Naturally, Ariana defended herself against the claims and revealed the truth behind her current living situation with Tom.
“I live in my home that I own while working with my lawyer and financial advisors to navigate the best path forward before uprooting my dog and elderly cat and causing more trauma for the three of us,” Ariana said in response to a fan asking, “Why do you still live with him?”
Another fan commented, “And you wanted to exploit the situation by cashing in.”
Ariana clapped back: “’Exploiting the situation,’ Sir, this is MY LIFE.”
Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo for season 11 in 2024.
