Randall Emmett Slams ‘Disgusting’ Jax Taylor for ‘Threatening’ Him Over Money

Jax Taylor and Randall Emmett enjoy a laugh together

Randall Emmett calls Jax Taylor “disgusting” for “playing victim” and “threatening” him over money drama.

The movie producer has accused Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor of “threatening” him over a $75,000 investment he made into one of his projects.

According to Randall, Jax Taylor actually invested $300,000 into one of his projects, but when it “fell apart,” Jax was out $75,000.

“He then went on and started threatening me that if I didn’t pay him the balance back — me, personally, not the company that took the money for a project — that he was gonna out me publicly and this and that,” Randall said of his “It’s a Racquet” podcast, according to Page Six.

Randall claims that he was shocked by Jax’s comments as he considered him “one of [his] best friends.”

“I was like, ‘Dude, we’re friends. Why are you threatening me? It’s disgusting.’ So then he’s acting like he doesn’t know what happened; he didn’t know what was going on,” he continued.

Emmett then claimed that Jax Taylor “exaggerated” the truth and was “playing a victim.” He added that Jax’s antics are a “bunch of bulls–t.”

“I wanted him to be taken care of, and I wanted to get his balance of $75,000 back, but I don’t owe him that personally,” he said. “I’m doing that because I always considered him a friend.”

The movie producer notes that Jax Taylor previously “begged to invest” in his projects and had made “profits” on other investments but needs to accept that investments don’t always work out as one would hope.

“At a time when Jax didn’t have a job, [he] came to me in a sincere way and just said, ‘Can I invest with you?’ And I said, ‘Yes, an investment is an investment, it’s not a loan to me personally, it’s an investment.’ So he said, ‘Can I invest in your films?’ And he knows as a grown man that an investment is a risk,” he said.

Randall added that Jax is a “grown man” whose investment “didn’t work,” and he needs to accept it “bottom line.”

As AllAboutTRH previously reported, in May,  the former SUR bartender claimed that Lala Kent‘s ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, owes him $100k.

On Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s When Reality Hits podcast, the 44-year-old ranted:

“So, mind you, I’m not Sony. Okay, I am not a studio. I’m not Paramount, where I have these huge budgets, where I have insurance that covers things like this. I am Jax Taylor, a family man that you took money from. A family man who I need to support my family. I gotta pay my mortgage. You took from me. It’s not like I’m going out partying, I’m going out doing all this, or I’m just gonna blow this money in the car.”

He continued:

“I need to feed my family. That is why I made these investments, to make money to support my family. [Investing] is one of [the] things that I do. So the fact that you’re taking from a family man and you think it’s funny, and then now I’m watching you on Instagram, going to Miami, having a new girlfriend, spending money, buying new cars, doing all this. It’s so shitty. Where the fuck is my money? Yeah. And I hate to blow this outta the water, and I said I wasn’t gonna talk about it, but it’s been [hell].”

Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo in 2024.

BOO HOO Jax. All you were doing was looking for a way to make quick cash. An investment is a chance that you're going to make money.or even break even and often lose it all. It often doesn't work so you cannot come back and say "I don't like the outcome so I want my money back" Jax the only one responsible for your losses is YOU!!!! Also your investments was with SONY not Randall. Time to get a job Jax! If you are a true father and husband you have to do whatever you can to feed your family then do it. There are plenty of jobs our there with your talents. Well now that I think of it, you have no job skills. Sorry.

OI wonder if the investment had paid off, if Jax would have been happy just receiving his initial investment back. After all, if this was a loan -- like Jax makes it sound like it was -- that is all he'd get back, plus a little interest, perhaps. We know damn well that Jax fully understands an investment when it shows a profit. But when it fall through? Suddenly Jax thinks he should be paid back as if the money were a loan. If Jax is truly concerned about feeding and clothing his family, perhaps getting a real job would help. A nice 8 - 5 job works very well for most of us. It would for Jax as well.

Jax would never understand that investing in the film business is one of the most risky investments you can do with your money. You do not get the money back if the film project fails, or the film does not even get out of production. So many sports stars have lost fortunes being talked into “investing” in failed film productions. Sonia Morgan lost a huge chunk of money investing in an unsuccessful film project. The way Jax first described it was he lent Randall money that was not paid back. He never said anything initially these were investments made in film projects. No one owes you a nickel Jax. What were you thinking.

Jax is all cock and no brains. Of course, he can't figure out the deference between investing and borrowing. What a dick.
