Ariana Madix has put her foot down with VPR producers and is refusing to film any one-on-one scenes with ex Tom Sandoval for season 11.
If you were expecting to see Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval come face-to-face for a sitdown during season 11 of VPR, then you will be sorely disappointed as TMZ reports that the exes have yet to shoot any individual scenes together after a month of filming.
Sources close to the show report that Ariana is refusing to share any screen time with Sandoval as she has zero interest in talking to him since uncovering his affair with Raquel Leviss in early March. Said discovery prompted Ariana to end her nearly decade-long relationship with Tom, which then spurred the cultural phenomenon known as Scandoval.
The source notes that Ariana has NOT spoken to Sandoval since they filmed the VPR season 10 reunion in late March. The exes are only communicating through other people at this point in time.
Production on season 11 of VPR is set to wrap the first week of September, so there aren’t that many opportunities for producers to get Ariana and Sandoval to sit down for a chat on camera. Sources note that producers are in crunch time trying to figure out how to get Ariana and Sandoval to film a scene together.
Sandoval and Ariana have only been at the same place once this season so far. Earlier this month, both were at SUR at the same time but steered clear of each other the entire time.
However, Sandoval couldn’t avoid the wrath of Ariana’s bestie, Scheana Shay, who ripped into Sandoval in the infamous alleyway of SUR. Scheana berated Sandoval about Raquel Leviss, who is apparently creating major issues for production.
Raquel is under contract with Bravo to film for season 11 of VPR, but she has been missing in action from every shot since leaving treatment for her mental health earlier this month.
All of this doesn’t bode well for Bravo and the Scandoval of it all. Fans are obsessed with Scandoval, so if Bravo can’t get Raquel to film and have Ariana and Sandoval sit down to chat, season 11 of VPR may be a complete bust.
Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo in 2024.
