Albie Manzo is defending Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s daughter, Gia Giudice.

Albie’s family appeared on RHONJ when Albie was 22 years old. He and his siblings were very involved in the hit show.

We recently interviewed Albie Manzo on our AllAboutTRH podcast and asked Albie whether Gia Giudice, 22, has a right to defend her mother despite backlash from those who still consider her a kid.

Albie told us that it’s nonsense that people want her to remain quiet. He explained that she has every right to defend her family saying, “Look, with everybody that watches the show … you’re not trying to have a dialogue. You want your mind made up. They want Gia to be an entitled brat that shouldn’t have an opinion. Or, ‘how dare you get involved in the adult’s business?’ Listen, not for nothing, this kid’s been on TV for 10 years. She’s smart as hell. She’s sharp!”

Albie says the show wouldn’t be real if Gia wasn’t able to respond or react. Albie explained that people should focus on how great she has been doing considering all that she has been through in the last 10+ years and that he wish people would focus more on those things.

Albie is a good looking man. I wonder if he has a job these days though. Also his brother. They seemed very much directionless when they were on the show.

Albie - mind yo bizniz - your uncle is a convicted abuser, your granddaddy was murdered and stuffed in the trunk of his car, your dad's bestie is a felon and your father is a criminal. Clean your house before commenting on another felon's spawn who continues to side with her felon parents.

Is Jackie not allowed to speak either because both her parents went to prison. Frank C. kids too as he was charged with crimes and disbarred with his law degree. Kids have to pay for their parents crimes, is this the rule, not just be responsible for their own lives.

Albie said the narrative should stop changing and stop the hypocrisy… kids talk on housewives, it can’t be ok for Albie, Chris and Lauren to speak out on camera for 3 seasons, then not for Gia, Gabriella, Miliania, Adrianna, (who Chris pointed out himself have been speaking on camera since season 1, its 12! ) and now some fans and HW have issues. There was no backlash when Vicki’s kids talked on HWs for 14 seasons, as Michael and Brianna always gave their two cents. Same with Jenna’s kids…, and many more. Even when Kathy’s kids were on, they spoke frequently. Go back and rewatch. If one has an issue with a HW, maybe keep it there. But kids are part of the show and they do have memories, opinions and voices. RHONJ has always been a family show. Fans pushing back at Gia and Gabriella, who were in JH and 6 grade, and saying no your voice and memory don’t matter when your mother was in prison isn’t fair .Of course they know more than the anonymous public online. Criticize what they say, not that they “dare to speak” in the first place.
