Lala Kent Reveals She Had to Pay Randall Emmett For Months After Kicking Him Off her Podcast

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent explains why she defended Tom Sandoval at BravoCon

Lala Kent was forced to be Randall Emmett’s sugar mama for months after kicking the movie producer off her Give Them Lala podcast.

The Vanderpump Rules star recently dropped a bombshell about her financial drama with ex-fiancé and baby daddy Randall Emmett.

Lala Kent appeared on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s When Reality Hits podcast, where she revealed that she had to pay Randall for months after kicking him off of her podcast after they split in 2021.

Before diving into her money woes with Rand, Lala apologized for the fact that her ex still owes Jax money. Back in May, Jax revealed that Randall Emmett owes him $100k. Yikes.

According to Jax, he allegedly gave Randall $100k as an investment into one of his film projects as a way to make extra money since he’s no longer on reality TV and needs to provide for his family, which includes his wife, Brittany, and their two-year-old son, Cruz.

Then earlier this month, Jax told his and Brittany’s podcast listeners that Randall “has still not paid me back or returned any of my lawyer’s emails.”

Jax explained, “I’m getting to the point that I’m going to have to post this on social media or take it to the LA Times. It’s a lot of money, and I’m not a corporation – I’m a family guy, and that money means a lot to me.”

“I don’t know what to do at this point,” the former SUR bartender added.

“I’m sorry that you haven’t been paid, but I’m thrilled because I no longer have to pay him for my podcast,” Lala confessed to Jax and Brittany on the June 27 episode of their podcast.

“I don’t think many people know I was paying him. He would not let go of the money with the podcast,” the Give Them Lala Beauty founder explained. “When I kicked him off of it and said,’ there is no version of me doing this with you,’ he would not let go of the freaking money.”

“I’m so freaking thrilled I don’t have to pay this man anymore,” she added before revealing that Randall is quite the mooch.

“It was crazy because most months I paid him more than he paid Ocean in child support,” Lala quipped, noting, “So many people talking about [how] I’m securing the bag … I was actually his sugar mama.”

Vanderpump Rules is set to return for season 11 in 2024.

She would not have been paying him unless there was some agreement about splitting any income from the podcast. No doubt he fronted the money to get it going. So she was hardly a sugar mama; more a business partner and he simply expected her to live up to her end of the agreement. (Is anyone else as tired of LaLa's self-defined victimhood as I am?)
