So I have thoughts on your Summer House take and I’m agreeing with Roxanne. 1. Paige told Lindsey first that Danielle was saying stuff. Lindsey asked Danielle not to do that. Danielle did not apologize. Lindsey also said she is trying to use the skills from therapy and that’s why she didn’t argue with Kyle. 2. At girls night Danielle put Lindsey on the hot seat about her drinking less and not goi N to Montauk. This was the first time Danielle said she wanted more time with Lindsey. 3. Kyle’s Birthday party the first time they haven’t talked during the week. Danielle says she needs Lindsey to check in with her. Lindsey said she will do better, apologizes, and asks Danielle to do better and not talk about her to the girls and come to her directly. Danielle doesn’t apologize but says she’ll do better. 4. At the housewarming party they have an argument and Lindsey doesn’t understand why Danielle has a problem with the speed of their relationship. Lindsey also checks in with Danielle and her response was passive aggressive. Lindsey is hearing Danielle is saying things (producers). Tells Danielle that she researches out but doesn’t come to the city and doesn’t always answer the phone. 5. Danielle has conversation with Carl and she screams in the pillow. (Not sure if Lindsey was told about that) 6. Conversation with Danielle, Carl, and Kyle discussing Lindsey. Lindsey comes and Danielle once again bumbles her issues with Lindsey. Lindsey says she understands there are two different things (friendship and her relationship with Carl) and tells Danielle that she hears what Danielle is saying about her and her relationship (producers). She said Danielle moved to CO and then to Montauk and never comes into the city or arranges to meet up with Lindsey but Lindsey is expected to do it all. She is hurt by that. Danielle gets flustered and leaves. 7. Engagement party Danielle goes around complaining and Lindsey’s friends tell her about Danielle’s behavior. So all that factors into how Lindsey is approaching this last conversation. FYI in season 4 when Lindsey and Carl tried dating Danielle didn’t like it. When it ended Danielle the next weekend went and made out with Carl. Lindsey didn’t get activated then.

Excellent recap on Lindsay and Danielle issues. Few more points. Danielle has more jealousy for Carl than she will admit and when she is angry it comes out. When she was hysterical about the engagement news she kept wailing, “he didn’t tell me. “ Also, how many times in two years did Robert come to the Hamptons to spend weekends with Danielle and Lindsay was left the single girl and never gave Danielle a hard time, nor about maybe moving to South Carolina, etc. she was just supportive. Danielle could not do that back in return because it was Carl, and the jealousy for Carl was there. If it was a different guy for Lindsay, I believe Danielle would have reacted completely different. Finally, after Danielle trash talked her to her family and friends on her engagement night, and sic Robert on Carl, she destroyed her friendship bridge so badly she needed to walk away for a while for healing and ask for forgiveness later. Instead, Danielle got so angry and hysterical at that last fight with Lindsay because she was telling herself that she was in the right, and the girls in the house kept gaslighting her telling her she was right.

So true and looking back on the season and going into the reunion everyone should see objectively the reaction by fans. Yet many of them are stuck in their feelings (hatred for Lindsey) and pride.
