On the latest episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, we watch as Teresa Giudice gets thrown a surprise wedding shower by her bridal party. During the episode, Teresa thanks family for flying out to come to the shower and thanks her best friend for being there for every struggle she’s ever went through. Teresa Giudice doesn’t mention her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga in the speech as well as her girlfriends from the show.

After the speech wraps up, Teresa’s long-time friend Nicole Greco-Peepas approaches Melissa Gorga and Jackie Goldschneider and tells Melissa that she feels for her saying that Teresa Giudice should have mentioned her sister-in-law referring to Melissa.

Nicole attempts to make Melissa feel b better by insinuating Teresa means nothing by it and tells Melissa that she reminds Teresa all the time that she only has one brother. Melissa responds that she basically doesn’t expect anything out of Teresa anymore and that she doesn’t deserve what Teresa does. 

Nicole is now telling us exclusively that she didn’t really know what was happening between Teresa and Melissa during the time of filming especially with Teresa being so focused on her wedding. Nicole explains why she went up to Melissa saying that things were edited telling us, 

“Being brought up in an Italian family like Teresa and married into a Greek family the one thing I understand the most is how important it is for family to stick together. As Teresa’s long time friend, I know her heart and her values and I know she would never want to be malicious. What I said before being edited for tv was that I was a long time friend of Teresa and we would give each other the shirts of our backs. Being clear that although my loyalties are with Teresa, this fighting is not the what should be going on. I saw the look on Melissa’s face and as an impulse reaction I spoke to her. 

Anyone that’s knows me knows who I am, the friend I am, the mother I am, I’m not playing sides I was a friend to T before the show as well as I will be well after.”

Her friend was out of line although she meant well. She obviously does not know that Tre and Melissa have a very contentious relationship unless Tre is pretending everything is okay when it is not. Add on, Melissa didn't set up the bridal shower.

I am so over the drama and faux outrage. Mel, Jackie and Margaret talk non-stop sh*t about Teresa and everyone knows it. Melissa has said over and over and over again that she is done with Teresa, so why the constant fakerage when Teresa doesn't acknowledge or invite her places? Melissa doesn't want to go. She doesn't want a relationship with her. She doesn't want her kids around her. So own it and stop acting like a victim ffs.

Melissa said that they should drop the pretence at the reunion last season because Teresa's reason for not asking her to be a bridesmaid was "we're not that close" even though Teresa is the one telling Melissa to make more effort for "fambly". Teresa then admitted at Danielle's mozzarella party that it was because Melissa didn't do enough to shut Margaret up last season. So yes Melissa is saying she is done - because of the BS and constant snubs from Teresa. Teresa is the one lying about why she is doing this crap and this has been exposed in this episode with Luis getting caught on camera.

All of that may very well be true but doesn't change anything. Melissa doesn't like Teresa. Teresa doesn't like Melissa. The whole story line of Teresa pretending she wants Melissa around and Melissa pretending to be hurt when she gets exactly what she says she wants is just old at this point. Family is not always "everything". Sometimes families suck and they need to go their separate ways.

Wait, I am confused..did Melissa put the time and effort into planning, coordinating and throwing Teresa the Bridal Shower. If she did that, then she should be thanked. If not, and if somehow is again just making this about her feelings when this is not her day or event, stop with the pity party. It has gone too far. Melissa has shown so little support for this wedding or help in any way, why is she expecting thanks. Once again this wedding and bridal party whatever is not about the Gorga’s and Melissa.

Why should she put any effort or time into planning anything for Teresa's shower or wedding. Teresa made it perfectly clear that she didn't want Melissa in her bridal party or part of her life so why would you expect Melissa to help in any way?

I think the point is, nobody expected Melissa to do anything because she and Tre are not close, and Melissa should not be salty she is not included. Everyone knows they are done with each other.

Melissa didn't say anything, this "friend" of Teresa's approached Melissa to talk about it. And Melissa said repeatedly she doesn't care or expect anything from Teresa and was just waiting for the wedding to be over so she could be done with her. I think Melissa probably just didn't want to be at the shower at all hence her glum expression.

Exactly what I thought... thank her for WHAT exactly? What the hell has Melissa ever done for Teresa but come on the show behind her back so she could "take her down." That's what Danielle said and then Joe and Melissa's actions most definitely signaled that as well. smdh
