Melissa Gorga Talks ‘Toxicity’ on RHONJ and the ‘Low-Blow, Made-Up’ Cheating Rumors About her Marriage; Reveals the Last Time She Talk to Teresa while Addressing ‘Mind-Boggling’ Claims About How She Joined RHONJ During Season 3

Melissa Gorga

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s relationship is fractured. The two Real Housewives of New Jersey stars are estranged following season 13, where their relationship went from cracked to wholly broken.

According to a new interview, the family members turned co-stars have seen or spoken to each other in months.

While promoting the newest season of RHONJ, Melissa dished on a bevy of topics that the Bravoverse can’t stop talking about, including the “toxicity” among the RHONJ cast, those shocking cheating rumors against her, and the latest gossip about how she was cast on RHONJ during season three. Melissa also reveals the last time she spoke to Teresa and how she feels about Teresa finally watching past seasons of RHONJ.

Melissa’s least favorite part of season 13 is the physical altercation that almost went down between her husband, Joe Gorga, and Teresa’s now-husband Louie Ruelas.

As we previously reported, a massive brawl broke out at the season 13 finale, which led to Melissa and Joe skipping Teresa and Louie’s wedding.

However, while it looked like Joe and Louie came to blows in the season 13 trailer, that thankfully didn’t happen, according to Melissa.

“The finale,” Melissa admitted to Entertainment Tonight of the drama she didn’t “like” during season 13. “It’s like the worst part, but it doesn’t happen, thank God.”

Another piece of drama Melissa didn’t like during season 13 was the cheating rumors that came up about her marriage. Jennifer Aydin and Teresa Giudice have been accused of bringing up the allegations on camera. However, AllAboutTRH uncovered that Melissa and Joe knew about the rumor all season long but waited to blame Teresa days before her wedding. Margaret Josephs even recently confirmed that the entire RHONJ cast knew about the cheating allegation against Melissa at the season 12 reunion.

“It’s a completely made-up facade thing, and then they went with that, and that to me is very frustrating because I’m married with kids, and that’s a low blow,” Melissa noted, reiterating, “It’s just a low blow.”

Before the drama arose between Melissa and Teresa during season 13, the sisters-in-law were already in a bad place after Teresa revealed that Melissa would not be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Teresa decided to leave Melissa out of her bridal party after Melissa didn’t shut down the digging Margaret Josephs did into Louie’s past last season. While Teresa eventually made up with Margaret, as seen in the season 13 premiere episode, the RHONJ OG continued to hold a grudge against Melissa for her role in the drama. Teresa believes that Melissa should have had her back and shut down the gossip about Louie for their family’s sake.

On the other hand, Melissa disagrees and can’t wrap her head around Teresa’s thought process. She said, “I think it’s crazy. It makes zero sense. She’s literally holding me accountable for that, but she’s forgiven Margaret for it.”

Meanwhile, Melissa says she’s just as perplexed by Teresa’s decision to watch old seasons of RHONJ after all these years. Teresa previously admitted that she never watched RHONJ after her family joined the show during season three. However, she has since started to watch and was alarmed to see how poorly Joe and Melissa talked about her on the show.

Melissa doesn’t understand why Teresa would want “to go backwards” instead of “move forward” after all these years.

She notes that Teresa can “b-tch” all she wants, but she doesn’t “give a sh-t” about “what happened in 2010.”

“Let’s go backwards more than we already have. Does that make sense to anyone?” Melissa questioned.

“I would like her to see her behavior. Please go back and watch. I want to move forward. I love the new girls. Please bring the new girls. We need new and refreshing. If Teresa wants to b-tch about season 10, she can b-tch on her own. I don’t care what happened in 2010. I just don’t give a sh-t,” Melissa quipped.

Melissa also doesn’t care about the claims about how she joined RHONJ. The On Display podcast host insists that she didn’t join the show behind Teresa’s back. Yet, last year former RHONJ producer Carlos King revealed that Teresa had no idea that Melissa had been cast on the show until days before filming began for season three.

“At this point, it’s kinda funny. We’ve talked about it in every interview that we’ve ever done. [Teresa] and I said on [Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip], ‘Okay, you have your version. I have mine. we are never going to agree on this.’ And it’s like; I let it go just because I think I move forward in life with things. If I keep bringing up things that have happened with [Kim D] or old friends, are we gonna move forward? Like, how long are we gonna talk about the fact that Melissa Gorga is on [the Real Housewives of New Jersey],” Melissa explained.

“It’s mind-boggling at this point,” she continued. “The stories do not add up. They just don’t. I’m sorry. No matter how badly you try to like backtrack it and make it seem like it was some kind of crazy thing that we were scheming up, it was not. How are we having this conversation again? It’s weird.”

While Teresa and Melissa have always had a rocky relationship, they somehow always found a way to reconcile for the sake of their family; however, this time, it seems different, according to the mom of three.

“I don’t see it as much as I used to. I don’t see us as of now, as sad as it is. I don’t know where we go from here. If I’m being honest, this is the lowest of the low,” Melissa shared, admitting their feud is the worst it’s ever been.

“I think it’s really sad,” she went on. “It’s so crazy. I don’t know. There are two sides to this family. So one side can’t take all the heat for everything and all the blame. If the other side of the family wants to take zero accountability for anything, then this is not gonna work.”

So, the whole cast has known about this for a year? Sounds like Margaret let everyone know about it then.

Whatever, Melissa Gorgaslighter! AND, I have no pity for her whatsoever! Here she is feeling sorry for herself! Melissa knows what being a Bravolebrity consists of and so do her children. My sympathy goes to Nick B's wife. I have no idea what her name is but I feel bad she has to go through this so publicly.

What's it like to be married to man who physically assaults people all the time? How come he gets a pass from you Ms Marco? Will your children grow up to be just like him...

Taking accountability means that you have to apologize too Melissa. Just saying that you want to move forward is not accountability! I don’t think Melissa or Joe have ever taken responsibility for any part of this broken relationship. According to them, it’s only Teresa’s fault. Teresa needs to hear them take some responsibility as well, maybe then she can move forward. Teresa can’t take all of the blame.
