The day has finally come! Season thirteen premiered the Real Housewives of New Jersey and episode one did not disappoint. In the episode, RHONJ star Teresa Giudice opened up on why she didn’t ask sister-in-law Melissa Gorga to walk in her wedding. “I felt like my brother and Melissa should have said to you, ‘Nobody speaks badly about Louie and that’s why I didn’t ask her to be in my wedding.” Discussing the texts from last season, Teresa said, “Margaret, when I texted Melissa, ‘Please don’t talk about Louie,’ what does she do? Come out and read you guys the texts,” further explaining it proved Melissa did not have her back. During the episode, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga also spoke out on how they haven’t heard from Teresa Giudice since a text Melissa sent Teresa after the season twelve reunion filmed was left on read. Melissa shared two text messages cropping one and making sure not to share Teresa Giudice’s response. In her confessional, Melissa Gorga explains that Teresa Giudice not choosing her to walk in the wedding is a big “f you.” And in a scene between Melissa and Joe Gorga, Joe Gorga says the night of the season twelve reunion showed his sisters true colors while Melissa adds that is exactly why she texted her after filming wrapped on March 31st writing, “I’m just letting you know, I’m truly fine with not being in the wedding. I donate ant to bring it up again within out family moving forward. I wish you all the best. I’m not going to get mad at you for what Jennifer does and you shouldn’t get mad at me for what Margaret does. Goodnight.” Melissa makes sure to note that Teresa Giudice never responded but days later both Melissa and Joe were invited to Teresa’s 50th birthday party that would be in Tulum without bravo cameras. Melissa pointed out that only Teresa’s “closest” people were invited. Melissa claims that when she got the text of the invite she had not heard from Teresa in two months submitting another text message from May 4th that was cropped to not show the entire message, “Teresa, I texted you driving home from the reunion and you never answered back until now,” the text said. Throughout the episode, the Gorga’s state over and over again that they haven’t spoken to Teresa since the reunion. Tre is completely condescending and full of shit. Those passive-aggressive texts are bullshit. Whoever believes they are sincere should hit me up - I have a bridge in Brooklyn I am selling. Dirt cheap.

I think this is just a situation, of two warring sides, one side has hit a wall. I think the only reason it didn't happen before is because it benefited both Teresa and Joey/Melissa to keep this stuff going for a story line, real or not. Bravo got a lot of mileage out of hiring Joey and Melissa. I don't care if Melissa lied about not being in contact. Teresa has also done her fair share of lying, especially when it comes to covering her own ass. Teresa is no victim in any of this and I would never trust her when it comes to changing her opinion. Teresa never truly changes her opinion and she always holds grudges. She is hard wired that way and has demonstrated it countless times. I think the texts of Teresa wanting to get together and talk are really prompted by Luis, not her. If they had gotten together it would not have resulted in anything other than Teresa dictating her own conditions for a reconciliation. Tit for tat. If you will forgive me for this, I will forgive you for (insert anything that has happened since J&M came on the show). It would be a long list. It would never be unconditional so move things can go forward. That would choke Teresa. It also wouldn't last.

If Melissa says herself she is “truly fine” with not being a bridesmaid, then what is all the fuss about now? Storyline, ding ding ding. If Teresa and Melissa have never gotten along and always had problems, of course Teresa would not want her standing beside her while she got married. I will always believe the only reason it bothered the Gorga’s is because it meant less camera time for them. Joe Gorga has hated Teresa for a very long time. Melissa has always taken her cue from her husband. Everything is encouraged and approved by Joe Gorga.

Not surprised. Melissa is fake and a lying liar who lies as easily as she speaks. She has always envied Joe and Tre's closeness. Has spent the better part of 20 years destroying it to the best of her ability. Her store is called Envy cos that is her true nature. She lives in a state of Envy. Why should T apologize about her wedding when those loons are the ones who decided not to come? Ugh, this woman is insufferable. Glad the truth is coming out. If she was my SIL, i would have very little to do with her, just see her on bdays and funerals. T tried so hard to be close with her and she was sabotaged every turn. M's aim has always been to make Teresa look like the bad one, whether it's on the show or off. Teresa has just gotten sick of the shady games and finally is just treating her platonically. I hope Tre keeps that energy all seasons cos I suspect that it rubs M raw that she can't get a rise out of Tre anymore.
