RHONJ: Caroline Manzo’s Response to Melissa Gorga’s Alleged Insults

Melissa Gorga denies claims she called her former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Caroline Manzo “too old and boring” for Real Housewives. As we previously reported, RHONJ OG Jacqueline Laurita recently claimed that Melissa and Caroline are “friendly acquaintances” and not real friends. Jacqueline also insisted that “Melissa always used to say Caroline was too old and boring for the show. (She’s not).” However, the On Display podcast host later shut down Jacqueline’s claims in a short statement on social media. “Not true- I love Caroline, always have,” Melissa commented on Page Six’s Instagram post about Jacqueline’s claim. Caroline and Jacqueline were OG cast members of RHONJ when the franchise premiered on Bravo in 2009. They both exited the franchise following season 5. Jacqueline returned for season 7, while Caroline went on to do a spinoff show with her family dubbed Manzo’d with Children. Caroline’s show ran for three seasons from 2014 to 2016. Earlier this month, Bravo and Peacock announced that Caroline would return to the Real Housewives universe for season 4 of the Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip. The cast is set to begin filming in Morocco very soon. The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns for season 13 on February 7.
