The claws are out as the New Jersey Housewives prepare for the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
On Monday, Margaret Josephs dished some dirt while appearing on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-tea” podcast.
According to Margaret, RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice has a “new lapdog” for season 13, meaning that Teresa’s longtime lapdog Jennifer Aydin has some competition in newbie Danielle Cabral. Cabral will make her debut as an RHONJ Housewife next year when the franchise returns to Bravo.
“There’s a new lapdog in town,” Margaret quipped.
“I hope it’s a rescue,” host Danny Murphy responded, to which the MacBeth Collection designer replied, “I think it is.”
RHONJ star Jackie Goldschneider, who was also on the podcast, chimed in: “She needs a bath!”
Marge then insisted that she and Jackie were just joking.
“We’re being shady. We’re kidding,” she promised, with Jackie adding, “We’re joking! I’m totally joking.”
The comment from Margaret came up after she and Jackie were asked about Jennifer’s unwavering loyalty to Teresa.
Meanwhile, Margaret also revealed that she left Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas’ wedding early as a show of solidarity with Melissa and Joe Gorga.
Melissa and Joe skipped out on Teresa and Louie’s wedding following a massive fight at the season 13 finale taping. The Gorgas accused Teresa of spreading a rumor that Melissa had an affair with their friend, Nick Barrotta.
“I was there for a little while,” Margaret confessed.
“I tried to do the best for all parties involved,” she explained. “I wanted to be supportive of Teresa, but Melissa and Joe weren’t there, and I’m so close with them, and I couldn’t dance the night away knowing my closest friends are not doing well.”
RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
