Teresa Giudice Admits She and Husband Louie Ruelas Didn’t Sign a Prenup Before Getting Married

Teresa Giudice decided to go old school and not take the advice from fans and Andy Cohen to sign a prenup before her wedding to her new husband, Louie Ruelas.

While the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG promised she would think about getting a prenup, she ultimately decided against it before saying, ‘I do’ in August.

During a taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that took place at BravoCon 2022, an RHONJ superfan asked Teresa and Louie: “We love you. We love you and Louie’s love. And I wonder, did you happen to follow uncle Andy’s advice and get a prenup?”

Teresa flashed a big smile before answering the question.

“No. True love. True love, yes,” Teresa ultimately replied.

Andy seemed surprised but also unfazed by Teresa’s answer.  “All right,” he said. “Personal decision.”

Months prior, the WWHL host encouraged Teresa to get a prenup ahead of her wedding to Louie. He explained to Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice that the prenup wasn’t about Teresa or Louie taking anything from each other and was more about protecting what each of them have for the sake of their children.

“Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup? Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup to protect what she has and to protect what he has?” Andy questioned before adding, “You put it in writing! You just put it in writing, but of course, they don’t want to take anything from each other.”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
