Kim Zolciak is finally breaking her silence over NeNe Leakes’ lawsuit against Bravo.
In the lawsuit, NeNe claims that Kim made made “racially offensive” comments and “perpetuated an offensive stereotype about African-Americans,” during their time on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
In addition to that, the lawsuit says Kim used the N-word to refer to NeNe and other cast members. NeNe also claims Kim implied she used drugs and that her home was a “roach nest.”
The RHOA OG adds that Bravo didn’t take any “meaningful action” against Kim and instead rewarded Kim by giving her family a spinoff show.
Now, two months later Kim is finally addressing NeNe’s lawsuit while appearing on The Nightcap With Carlos King.
“We know that NeNe has this lawsuit that’s coming out where she alleges a lot of things that happened. Kim, your name is mentioned in it. Is there anything you can say about that whole situation?” Carlos asked Kim.
The Don’t Be Tardy star “She knows what she’s saying is not true in regards to me. That’s ridiculous and she knows it.”
“So I’ll deal with her when she’s done with [Bravo],” Kim quipped. “You can’t say things that are not true and try to defame someone.”
Fellow RHOA OG Sheree Whitfield chimed in, noting, “Somebody said you were just together on stage, saying how much you miss each other.”
“Come on Sheree, we never know who were are going to get,” Kim replied. She then clarified: “I never know if [NeNe] is going to be nice [or] she’s going to be mad. I never know who I am going to get that day. So I feel bad for her.”
Lisa Wu then noted that she doesn’t understand NeNe’s lawsuit naming Kim when Kim is the first person NeNe says she wants back on RHOA when asked by the media.
Kim added: “[NeNe] still follows me on Instagram so she’s ain’t that mad.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
