Stassi Schroeder Admits a Vanderpump Rules Spinoff Was in the Works Before her Firing in June 2020

It turns out a Vanderpump Rules OG spinoff entitled Valley Rules was in the works at Bravo at one point in time.

The spinoff fell apart when the network fired Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute in June 2020.

On Tuesday, Stassi confirmed the rumor during an appearance on The Morning Toast. The former reality TV star is out and about promoting her new book, Off With My Head.

According to Stassi, the Pump Rules spinoff show was set to start with her wedding to Beau Clark in Italy. Stassi and Beau’s wedding would have transitioned the Pump Rules cast to their new show Valley Rules, while introducing a new generation of SURvers on Pump Rules.

“They were going to slowly transition us and keep ‘Vanderpump Rules’ with a whole new cast of people who work at the restaurant, and so the rest of us would transition into this,” Stassi explained.

“The way that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ started, where it was like ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ and it transitioned into ‘Vanderpump,’ that’s what we were going to do with my wedding,” she continued. “So that’s not happening.”
