Production Date For RHONY Reboot Revealed Plus Luann de Lesseps Admits She Was Shocked by RHONY Shakeup

RHONY season 13 cast

Bravo fans are finally getting some details on when cameras will start rolling on season 14 of the Real Housewives of New York.

According to RHONY Casting on Instagram, production on the RHONY reboot is set to begin this fall.

“Back on the old schedule,” RHONY Casting revealed. For the last several years, RHONY has solely filmed in the fall usually from September to December.

As for when season 14 will air on Bravo the account said, “2023.”

Meanwhile, Luann de Lesseps admits she was shocked by the news that the franchise would be split into two shows.

In April, Andy Cohen revealed that Bravo planned to shake up the New York Housewives franchise by splitting it into two separate shows.

The network plans to reboot and recast RHONY for season 14 while also introducing a new show dubbed RHONY: Legacy, which will feature some of the most-beloved NYC Housewives from past seasons.

The Countess said she was blindsided by the news of Bravo’s plans.

“I was not mad at it,” she told DailyMail.com. “I was surprised, obviously … not expecting that left hook.”

“I still don’t have a contract – no official ask,” Luann noted. “But, to do the OG show would be great fun.”

When it comes to who she’d like to see come back, Luann said, “I’d love to see Dorinda come back, I’d love to see Kelly Bensimon, I’d love to see Jill Zarin – even Aviva Drescher. I think she got a bad shake from the last shake.”

As for who she didn’t want to see return, Lu decided to keep her lips zipped.

“I’ve been doing this a long time darling and I’m gonna have to plead the fifth,” she said.
