Taking the blame!
Tom Schwartz is shutting down claims that his friendship with Tom Sandoval played a role in his split from wife Katie Maloney.
The Vanderpump Rules star says he’s the one to blame for his failed marriage.
“No, no, that’s all on me,” Tom told a paparazzi while at a Home Depot in Los Angeles on Wednesday per to E! News. “I wish I had a scapegoat, but that’s all on me.”
Over the years, Sandoval and Katie have butted heads on numerous occasions leaving Schwartz in the middle, unsure about whose side to take.
Tom added that his and Katie’s split is “complicated” but noted that he’s doing “OK.”
“Of course I’m sad, but, you know, we still love each other very much,” Tom said.
“It’s complicated, obviously,” he explained. “But nothing in particular. You know, life, you know. It’s complicated.”
As for season 1o of Vanderpump Rules, Tom said the cast and Bravo are still trying to figure out if the show will move forward.
“I don’t know what the future of the show holds,” he said. “I’m always optimistic, eternally. And yeah, I’m doing OK. I’m staying busy.”
It’s unclear if Bravo will renew Vanderpump Rules for season 10.
