Stephanie Hollman Reveals She’s Not Sad Over RHOD’s Cancellation; Talks Real Housewives Tell-All and Erika Jayne Drama

Stephanie Hollman isn’t crying over Bravo’s decision to cancel the Real Housewives of Dallas.

In August, Bravo’s decided to put the Real Housewives of Dallas franchise on permanent hiatus ahead of season 6.

In a statement on Tuesday, August 17, Bravo said, “There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dallas back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided.”

Now, the OG Dallas Housewives is speaking out on the cancellation.

“Are you sad the show is done?” a fan asked Stephanie during a Q & A on Instagram.

“If I am being honest – no,” Stephanie confessed. “I started when my oldest was 5 years old and it was such a juggling act. I learned so much about life and myself during those years, but Chance is 12 and I really want to be the best mom I can during these tough years.”

She continued, “It’s emotionally tough to be in the franchise and I felt like I was dying inside towards the end of the 5th year. My boys tell me all the time how happy they are now that I am not working and it breaks my heart because I realize that they could feel my stress and sadness when I was doing the show. I want their childhood to be better than that.”

Stephanie also weighed in on the new Real Housewives tell-all book and the drama facing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne.

When it comes to the much talked about Real Housewives tell-all, Stephanie admits she received a copy of the book but has yet to crack it open.

“I’m going to be honest. I haven’t read a sentence from it. I am trying to be in a healthy space at the moment and not sure that the book is going to be a positive thing to read,” she admitted. “One day I’ll get it out and read it, but I am not there yet.”

As for Erika’s drama, Stephanie says she knows nothing about what Erika did or didn’t know about her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s alleged crimes.

“Y’all I don’t know,” Stephanie said alongside a crying-laughing emoji when asked, “Did Erika know?!”

“I met her once at Andy’s shower and she was very nice to me, but that’s it. [I] don’t have any inside scoop on this one,” she added.
