Jeana Keough is reflecting on her friendship ending fight with Tamra Judge.
Almost ten years after Tamra infamously threw wine in her face during the Real Housewives of Orange County season 6 finale, Jeana is opening up on the incident.
“Ever got lemon or alcohol in your eye by accident, opening champagne or something?” Jeana told Us Weekly. “It was maybe a week and a half of [eye] drops and dilated my eyes. It burned. It was like a full glass of wine.”
Jeana, who starred on RHOC from seasons 1 thru 5 of the show and has appeared as a guest on multiple seasons, says she doesn’t get why she didn’t close her eyes or “blink shut” when Tamra tossed the drink.
“There is a reason why I threw wine in her face,” she said on the “Juicy Scoop” podcast. “The girl’s a bitch.”
While fans may have been surprised by Jeana and Tamra’s reconciliation, Jeanan says she always knew the two would mend their friendship.
“I always thought we would [make up] because we were all like sisters in the beginning. We watched every episode together at my house,” Jeana explained. “Our kids all were raised together for five or six years. I knew it was just something she did.”
Looking back, Jeana admits she doesn’t think Tamra “planned” to throw a glass of wine in her face because “she knew that [I was] trying to help her” amid her split with ex-husband Simon Barney.
“I’m sure she understands [now] that I cared about both of them, and it came from a good place,” she explained. “I always give people advice if you don’t listen to it. But I’m old; you should listen to me. I’ve learned a lot over the years.”
RHOC is expected to return for season 16 in late 2021 or early 2022.
