Facing the music!
Alexa Curtain, the daughter of Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lynne Curtain, has been sentenced to 68 days in jail after the 28-year-old pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
As we previously reported, Alexa was arrested on January 8 after being a fugitive for almost a year.
According to The Blast, Alexa appeared in an Orange County court last week. She pled guilty to a laundry list of charges, including “possession of a controlled substance and substance paraphernalia, driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, vandalism, and petty theft.”
The former reality star was sentenced to 68 days in jail and 3 years probation. She also has to attend a three-month-long first offender alcohol program and pay restitution for damages she caused.
Despite the sentence, it seems Alexa will not spend any time in jail due to overcrowding. In California, many defendants receive “time served” and are released from prison the same day they are sentenced.
In Alexa’s case, she did serve jail time before her sentencing hearing, and records show that she was released on January 26, which was the same day she was sentenced.
As you may know, Alexa appeared on seasons 4 and 5 of RHOC alongside her mother, Lynne.
Many RHOC fans predicted Alexa’s current legal troubles as she and her sister Raquel Curtain were overly wild teenagers with no structure or discipline.
RHOC will return for season 16 in mid-to-late 2021.
