Season 11 of The Real Housewives of New York City premieres on March 6th. It’s sure to be another roller coaster ride this year. Luann de Lesseps has recently been sharing what is to come on the upcoming season of the RHONY. Luann told US Weekly there will be lots of drama and said, “There’s always drama with seven women, you know?”
In the trailer Bravo released for the new season, we see Luann, Bethenny Frankel, and Dorinda Medley talking more about the whole “Jovani” situation during Luann’s cabaret show last season. Dorinda was feeling upset with Luann because her boyfriend wasn’t invited, but Luann had invited Tinsely Mortimer’s boyfriend. During Luann’s show, Dorinda was yelling “Jovani” because she helped Luann get Jovani dresses for her cabaret show. Bethenny and Luann seem to be arguing over her cabaret career this season, too. Luann recently said that she fights with Bethenny “a lot” during the upcoming season. They were getting along last season, so it seems their friendship is going to be shifting a bit.
Luann explained, “I mean, it’s a great season. You’re gonna see a lot of shifts in alliances and friendships as always, because you can’t stay mad forever, right? So, you forgive your friends, you move on, and then something else pops its ugly head. You’re gonna see a lot of relationship shifts, and traveling, and our crazy trips. And we have a lot of fun also. Besides the drama, there are really great moments where we look after each other. Its my ‘discombobulated Housewives family’ I would call them.”
Alum of the RHONY, Jill Zarin, is set to return as a friend role. Luann is looking forward to that this season. She gushed, “It was great, actually spending time with Jill again. I got on the show because of Jill, so it was great to have her back and film with her and she’s an OG. I see her in Florida. I’m filming a show in Miami at the Fillmore on February 16, so I’ll see her then.”
I’m looking forward to the new season! I’m glad we’re going to get to see Jill more this season. It was nice seeing her last season, but it was so brief and during sad circumstances. It’ll be neat to have her back as a friend role since she’s an OG. I wonder what Luann and Bethenny are going to fight about the most this season? They always seem to get back on good terms after a fight, so I hope they’re able to work through it. I think Luann and Dorinda will work through their issues as well. They always end up being friends again and I think they both genuinely care about one another. We’ll have to stay tuned, loves!
