May is here and that means it’s the season of the Met Ball!
Every year, Vogue magazine hosts its annual Met Gala Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the heart of Manhattan. It always falls on the first Monday in May. Tinsley Mortimer, is now starring on her second season of The Real Housewives of New York, but she’s well versed when it comes to NYC. New York is the fashion capital of the country, and Tinsley Mortimer is familiar and fond of the fashion industry. For years, Tinsley was a socialite and ‘it girl.’ She used to sit front row at every fashion show during fashion week, appear at every party and gala of prominence in the city, and of course – she attended the Met Ball.
Tinsley Mortimer took to social media to share a pretty photo from her first ever Met Ball, that was back in 2005! Tinsley is a lover of pink, and her dress was pink perfection. The silk gown featured a big bow that she styled with accessories and curls. On the day of the Met Ball, Tinsley was reminiscing of her debut Met Ball and all of the sweet memories she associates with it.
I loved Tinsley’s look! It’s so feminine and bright – much like Tinsley on the RHONY. I’m liking Tinsley as an addition to the cast. I think that she brings a unique personality to the show, she is much less confrontational than the other women. It’s nice that she joined RHONY and I’m excited to watch her storylines unfold this season!
