Carole Radziwill + Bethenny Frankel = BFF?
On The Real Housewives of New York, one of the most solid friendships is hands down between Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel. However; the trailer for this season of RHONY has everyone wondering what’s going up with their friendship? It seems like they definitely are going to get into some disagreements this season. There is a visible shift, however; I do still think that they’ll remain friends.
According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Carole shared, “I’m an idealistic kind of person. I look at the world that way, I look at people that way, and I think I looked at her that way. And I feel like now I see her a little bit more realistically and less idealistically. There were just some things that were said and done that I just felt like weren’t completely consistent with the girl I knew.” Carole also mentioned it surprised her, because she never expected that to happen. Carole explained that it wasn’t just one thing, “It was a bunch of things. It just felt like suddenly it was very gossip-y and mean and unnecessary, and I was just like, that’s not the person I knew.”
At this time last year, Carole stated, “Bethenny and I are good friends. I don’t have to defend that. It was an odd thing. But we both understood it. We were both like, ‘They’ve never had a really good friend that they want to hang out with all the time?’ Maybe they haven’t. Maybe they don’t have that kind of good girlfriend.”
It seems like they have drifted a part a little bit this season, but I definitely think their friendship will survive it. I think they both are going through a lot right now, and that had a lot to do with it. I’m sure these two Bravo beauties can survive any type of weather when it comes to an overall solid friendship. They will probably apologize to one another and kiss and make up. I don’t think anything went horribly wrong. We’ll have to stay tuned!
