Get ready to see NeNe back on your TV – and it will be soon!
NeNe Leakes will be joining the Fashion Police squad for a special co-host spot for the upcoming 2016 award season.
NeNe will be making her 2016 Fashion Police debut on the upcoming Golden Globes special. Along with NeNe, will be the original Fashion Police crew of Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski. Also announced as a 2016 special co-host is Margaret Cho.
NeNe couldn’t contain her excitement and was eager to share the news on social media after it had been officially announced:
Hopefully this gig goes better than her View co-hosting spot! NeNe said that while guest appearing on The View the other ladies on the panel were throwing her shade her way and were acting nasty to her! Although Raven Symone later apologized – NeNe most likely isn’t getting an invite back to the set anytime soon!
I think the Fashion Police spot is a much better fit! NeNe has the sass and attitude for the red carpet show which is a far cry from sitting on a panel talking politics and current events.
Fashion Police also needs good press this year after last year’s debacle between Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic! After the tragic loss of Joan Rivers, the show never seemed to fully recover. A little comic relief from NeNe may be just what the show needs to revive itself again.
