Gia Giudice Dreading Her Dad Joe’s Jail Stint: ‘It’s Going to be the Same Thing All Over Again’

On last night’s premiere of the Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, fans were able to see just how hard it’s been for the Giudice family without Teresa. The special was filled with tear-jerking moments especially for Gia Giudice, who celebrated several milestones without her mom. Despite people’s opinions of Teresa, the biggest question on every fan’s mind is, how are the kids doing? In a new interview with ET, Gia opens up about her family’s life and her Dad’s upcoming jail sentence.

Gia, who shows incredible maturity, continues to stay positive, saying that despite her family’s problems “it could be worse.”

“Anything can happen to any family, and it could be worse. At least no one’s sick — that’s honestly how I think of it. They’re coming home. My mom’s coming home. My dad’s going to come home. Knock on wood, no one’s sick, no one’s dying.”

While Gia is extremely excited for her Mom to come home, she knows that it will be bittersweet since her Dad will then head to prison.“When my mom comes home, it’s not even something to prepare for. I’m just so happy for that to happen. It’s going to be good to have it back to normal for a couple months, but then when my dad leaves, it’s just going to be the same thing all over again.”

Thoughts on Gia’s interview? How do you think Gia is handling Teresa being in prison?
