Big Ang has had a difficult year to say the least. She had to get major surgery after a massive tumor was found in her throat, and she and husband Neil went through serious issues on VH1’s upcoming season of “Couples Therapy.” However, Big Ang has had something to look forward to during all those hard times: her son AJ’s wedding!
According to People Magazine, AJ married Gabriella Celestino on Aug. 28! “This was a once in a lifetime wedding,” Ang explained. “It was something out of a magazine. The flowers, the table setting, just the room itself. The feeling that I had. I can’t even describe it. It was overwhelming.”
To help AJ and Gabriella plan their wedding, they hired celebrity wedding planner David Tutera to help with their big day. “I truly didn’t know what to expect going into this celebration, but I instantly felt like a part of Big Ang’s large and loud Italian family,” David said. AJ’s wedding was filmed for David Tutera’s reality series “CELEBrations” on WE tv.
David made AJ’s day something he and his family will never forget. David was able to get a Lamborghini for AJ and his wife! “The Lamborghini is truly the icing on the cake,” Ang said. “I cannot even believe that David even pulled that off. My son was so happy. It’s all he wanted was this Lamborghini to drive off in, and he got it. Everything they wanted they had. It was a wish and a dream come true.”
