Teresa Giudice needs more legal troubles like I need a hole in my head. The latest lawsuit drama to come her way, is from another hair product creator, Leyla Milani-Khoshbin, who owns, Milani Hair, and who also is good friends with RHOC’S, Alexis Bellino! (BTW, Leyla was also on a one episode show called Secrets of a Trophy Wife, which was never picked up). Alexis Bellino posted on both her Twitter and Instagram to thank Teresa for the Milania Hair Care Products she sent her, as well as a Milania Hair Care t-shirt. Alexis has since deleted the photo, but check out the tweet below!
Alexis also posted on her Instagram a picture of Leyla’s Miliani hair straightener a couples days after.
When fans tweeted Alexis confused, thinking the straightener was ALSO from Teresa Giudice, she cleared up the confusion by letting them know it was from her friend Leyla, who also has a hair product line. Well, since the mishap, Leyla IS NOT happy about her products being confused for Teresa Giudice’s!
She released the following statement via Hollywoodite saying,
“Teresa Giudice & her partner(s) are infringing on our registered trademark, ‘Milani Hair.’ Since we are both in the hair care category, she is causing confusing in the market with her ‘Milania Hair Care’ line. She will be hearing from our attorneys.”
First of all, Someone needs to let Leyla know, “Milani” and “Milania” are two DIFFERENT names, even if it is by one letter. And secondly, Teresa’s hair product was named by the FANS, which is her daughter’s name, Milania. She acts like Teresa went out of her way to try and name her product an identical name, when in reality, Teresa probably doesn’t even know who this woman exists! LOL I personally think Leyla is just worried because Teresa is more well-known than she is, and has the RHONJ to further promote her hair care products, as well as a successful fan base, and Leyla has Instagram. If Milani hair products are doing so well, then she shouldn’t be worried. What do you guys think? Do you think Teresa is in the wrong?
