Ciao, Bella! Melissa and Joe Gorga have returned to the motherland. The RHONJ couple are visiting Positano before filming begins for season 14.
Melissa and Joe Gorga are in Italy! The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple have taken a quick week-long trip to Positano and Capri before they begin filming for season 14 in early August.
The Bravolebs jetted off to Italy on July 26 for a kidless vacation, which Melissa and Joe dubbed a “honeymoon” on the July 27 episode of Melissa’s On Display podcast.
“This is technically not our honeymoon,” Melissa then clarified after Joe began asking if she was bringing lingerie on the trip. “It’s our relaxation time.”
“Joe and I are going to Positano and Capri. We are very excited about it,” Melissa continued. “We did invite our children to go, but [they weren’t interested in coming.]”
According to Melissa and Joe, they invited their three kids, Antonia, Joey, and Gino Gorga, on the trip, but all three kids declined as they would all rather spend time down the shore with their friends instead of traveling abroad.
“We invited them to Italy because we wanted to take them with us on a family trip, but Antonia said no because it’s her high school graduating year, and she has so many graduation parties. And for Gino and Joey, it’s their dead week, which means all the kids are off from [their] sports. It’s the only week you get off all summer that you are allowed to travel, so I told them I purposely picked this week so that my children could come with me. But they refused to come because their friends all rented houses on LBI and all of these things,” Melissa explained.
“So, now Joe and I are taking a honeymoon to Italy,” Melissa added. While Joe couldn’t blame his kids for choosing the Jersey shore over Italy, Melissa didn’t see it that way.
“Who says ‘no’ to Positano and Capri to go to the Jersey beaches? Just tell me, please.” Melissa quipped.
While wrapping up the podcast episode, Joe and Melissa shared their hopes for the trip.
“Open our minds and have a good time,” Joe said. “Enjoy the culture.”
Joe encouraged Melissa to “listen and learn” while in Italy and not just want to visit all the high-end places. Instead, Joe said he would like to see Melissa enjoy the authentic culture which will take her back to time with his parents.
Oddly enough, Melissa revealed that while she and Joe have both been to Italy separately, this will be their first time traveling to the motherland together.
“I’m actually very excited. Fun fact: Joe’s been to Italy [and] I’ve been to Italy. We’ve never been to Italy together. So, this is a first for us,” Melissa revealed.

What is this we invited our children and they said no? Who’s in charge here the parents or the children? I never had that choice. Parents planned a family vacation we are all going no I’m going to hang with friends at the shore for a week. Man parenting has changed. Then again they are far wealthier than my family as my parents never went on a solo vacation until we were all out of the house and we paid for it. Times are changing.

So Melissa unblocks you on social media and your first reaction is to post her thirst trap to kiss her ass. It’s very interesting that on the podcast you shaded her for posting those photos because its obvious that she did that “in competition” with Teresa. But you don’t share those thoughts on this post. & if it was really a genuine post, you could have also posted Tre but you didn’t. Lol! It’s your platform and you are obviously free to do as you wish but the Korkas though haha. To be clear, I’m not a fan of either of them, the show became too toxic for me but at least I am not a flip flopper.

I could pull it off if I had a boob job ( no shade , good for her and all the housewives that have had one ) and any other work they’ve had done.. it’s their body, face , etc. I say if they want it, go for it .

I don’t believe them one bit that they “invited” their kids. The “graduation party” and “dead week” are both BS excuses.

Do you not see everything that’s posted ? This was just one example out of many . And hate to say it but yes – Teresa takes that trip for her anniversary and here they( Gorga ) are debating if it’s a honeymoon etc .. they are middle school . I know you’re smarter than that and you get it
They are both taking summer trips bc filming has been delayed. They both said as such. Normally they film over the summer.

Delores is in Ireland. Jennifer Aydin is going to Italy next week I think with her family for bills nieces wedding .
All of these trips would have been postponed if they were filming .

The pictures they post are going to be stunning, So much easier to travel wo kids, and so much cheaper! After almost 20 years of marriage, they should. Do a little reconnaissance, and bring them back some day. Awesome trip! Pretty dress. Those dresses are everywhere in Greece and Italy, though I prefer the shorter version.
