Selling Sunset alum and current HGTV star Heather Rae El Moussa admits she considered joining Bravo’s RHOC after being approached by producers.
“Well, you know, they may have reached out to me and I’m just too busy right now,” the 37-year-old told Us Weekly. “It’s just not a good place in my life to do that.”
While the Selling Sunset alum is friends with several past and present RHOC cast members including Heather Dubrow and Gretchen Rossi, she says her life is way to busy at the moment to think about joining the hit Bravo show.
Heather currently stars on two HGTV shows alongside her husband, Tarek El Moussa. The couple stars on The Flip Off with Tarek’s ex-wife Christina Hall.
“I love being able to film with my husband and be drama-free, but drama is with the houses and now maybe Christina,” Heather explained. “I like [being] drama free. Selling Sunset was a lot for me, so it’s nice to be able to just enjoy what I’m doing.”
The Orange County Real Housewives franchise is currently in its eighteenth season and continues to pull in strong ratings for Bravo.
RHOC currently stars Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti, and newbie Katie Ginella.
Heather appeared on Netflix‘s Selling Sunset for 6 seasons before exiting the show in 2024. She currently lives in alongside her husband and their son, Tristan.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
