Jenn Fessler spills the tea on RHONJ’s season 14 watch party reunion, the possible franchise reboot for season 15, and so much more!
Jenn Fessler recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked with Dorinda Medley. During the interview, she revealed that
she was thankful there was no RHONJ reunion. Plus, Jenn shared her thoughts on a potential reboot and discussed how she felt going into the finale watch party.
To start, Dorinda Medley asked Jenn Fessler about Bravo’s possible reboot of the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise.
“What do you think about getting some fresh faces on the Housewives of New Jersey? You know that they rebooted all of New York, and people have very mixed feelings about that. I don’t think that they’ll reboot New Jersey. I don’t,” Dorinda asked.
“I don’t know. I mean, there are way smarter minds than mine at Bravo who are gonna obviously make this call. I don’t know what it’s gonna look like. I think that viewers are so invested in Jersey,” Jenn explained. “I think with New Jersey, the viewers are so invested, and they want to see more Jersey. They don’t want to see it, you know, in the shape that it’s in right now, so you know, if I’m making the decision, it’s not a complete reboot.”
Jenn Fessler then declared that she is “thankful” there was not sit-down style reunion for season 14 of RHONJ.
“My feeling was, ‘Thank god.’ After that finale, I had no interest in walking back into a situation like that and I understand that the viewers, some viewers wanted it, some understood. I think that what else was there to say? I mean, what else was, where else was this going to go? It had escalated to the point where this screaming, the carrying on, the breaking of glass, the insults, what else is there? You know, usually after a finale, you see the captions. “Dorinda spent the rest of her year in the Berkshires at Bluestone.” Like, you find out like what these people are doing in their lives now. There was none of that. There was just like a blank space, so I don’t think so. I mean, I think that it was a good choice. I think it was probably the smart choice,” Jenn said.
She went to confess that she was “shaking” going into the finale watch party.
“I walked into the finale, Margaret [Josephs’] said to me later, she’s like, ‘It’s as if you’ve been electrocuted. You walked in shaking,’ and I did. I hadn’t spoken to certainly Rachel [Fuda] or Danielle [Cabral] for months and months. You know, Rachel and I especially had been so close, and we had our issues, and I hadn’t spoken to her, and I was really upset about some things. She was too, obviously,” Jenn explained.
“I was walking into a room where, you know, I knew that I was facing all of that, and I’m not as seasoned, and I’m not as used to walking into a room with people that I know are not happy with me and that I’m not happy with, and so I think that’s something that you get used to over time,” she continued.
Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.
