Following the season one finale of The Valley, Jax Taylor accused his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, of sleeping around after their split played out on Bravo.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s split played out on the season one finale of The Valley as the Bravo cameras flashed forward six months after filming had wrapped on the new series.
The Vanderpump Rules OG could be seen crying on his couch as the news about his marriage broke in the press. Brittany, for her part, told their friends that she reached her breaking point after Jax continually came home drunk and would have hangovers that made him “mean as a snake.”
At the end of the episode, Jax and Brittany sit down to create a plan to save their marriage. Brittany demands that Jax go to therapy to work on his “demons,” “aggression,” and get “the help” he clearly needs. While Jax agreed to try therapy, Brittany wasn’t hopeful he would follow through.
“I bet you money he will not [go to therapy,]” Brittany said in her confessional.
Ultimately, Jax didn’t ever go to therapy. Why?
“I did make an appointment, but I didn’t go,” Jax admitted to a producer.
The producer then asked, “‘Cause you were afraid to go?” to which Jax replied, “That – and it was really far.”
Meanwhile, after his and Brittany’s marital drama played out on Bravo, Jax took to Twitter to accuse his wife of sleeping with another man since their separation.
“You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months…” Jax tweeted early Wednesday morning.
Of course, Jax swiftly deleted the tweet, but those Bravo fans were able to screenshot a copy before it disappeared.
The Valley will return to Bravo for season 2 in 2025.
