RHOC: Tamra Judge Slams Ryan Boyajian’s Alleged Ties to Gambling Scandal Plus Ryan’s Attorney Responds

RHOC’s Tamra Judge isn’t keeping quiet about co-star Ryan Boyajian’s alleged connection to the Shohei Ohtani gambling scandal.

“I didn’t sign up for Mob Wives. I signed for The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Tamra Judge shared on the Monday, May 13 episode of her Two T’s in a Pod podcast.

“This is dark. This is heavy. This is disgusting,” the 56-year-old added.

On the podcast, Tamra also confirmed that filming for season 18 of RHOC resumed after the news of Ryan Boyjian’s alleged ties to the scandal broke in the press. Cameras previously concluded on season 18 following the finale party on April 18.

“You guys, it’s bad,” Tamra said, noting how big of a deal the case is. “I’m not the one that actually brought it up on the show…originally.”

As previously reported, Ryan Boyajian, who is engaged to RHOC star Jennifer Pedranti, was named in the $16 million gambling and theft scandal surrounding the former interpreter for Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani.

Multiple sources tell ESPN that Ryan Boyajian “is the bookmaker’s associate to whom interpreter Ippei Mizuhara wired money to pay his gambling debts.”

Ryan and the alleged bookmaker, Mathew Bowyer, reportedly laundered interpreter Ippei Mizuhara’s payments through “marker” accounts at various casinos.

After depositing the payments, Ryan and Bowyer “then withdrew the chips from the marker accounts, gambled with them, and if they won, cashed out.”

Ryan Boyajian’s criminal attorney, Steven Katzman, told ESPN that the Bravo star is working with federal authorities.

“Because there is an active investigation and Ryan is working with the authorities, he can’t confirm or deny what is going on. He is not a bookmaker or a sub-bookie.”

In response to Tamra Judge’s most recent podcast episode, Katzman told Us Weekly: “While we continue to take the position that we cannot comment in light of the active investigation of which my client is cooperating, I will state that Ms. Judge does not know anywhere close to all of the facts, mischaracterizes that she does with inflammatory rhetoric and should refrain from commenting publicly on the same until she does.”

On her latest podcast episode, the RHOC star reminded fans that she voiced her concerns about Ryan long before he was involved in this latest drama.

“When are you people going to start believing me?” she said. “I was right about Brooks. I was right about this dude.”
