Ariana Madix‘s Vanderpump Rules co-stars turned on her for refusing to film with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval during the season 11 finale.
On the Tuesday, May 7 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix remained steadfast in her decision not to film with ex Tom Sandoval during their cast trip to San Francisco.
Naturally, several members of the Vanderpump Rules cast took issue yet again with Ariana’s decision to keep her distance from Sandoval.
In the episode, one of Scheana Shay prior conversations with Sandoval forced Ariana to break the fourth wall after reaching her breaking point.
Scheana told Sandoval that Ariana wanted an apology for how he “weaponized her mental health” in the weeks following his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. This statement resulted in Sandoval being determined to apologize to Ariana. However, the catch is that Ariana never actually wanted an apology nor did she ask for one.
So when Sandoval attempted to talk with Ariana on camera she left the event they were at altogether rather than engage with her ex.
After Sandoval’s failed attempt to converse with Ariana, the 38-year-old stormed over to production, telling them: “Him f—ing walking up on me talking to Scheana. He doesn’t give a f— if I died in a ditch, or got a f—ing deadly STD, the way he was f—ing around behind my back. That is non-informed consent. He does not deserve to speak to me. He does not get access to me.”
Before leaving the event, Ariana explained, “It’s about a performance for the audience. He wants 30 seconds with the audience.”
“Whatever it is that Tom is trying to get for me, it’s not for me, it’s for him,” she continued in her confessional. “I am the final boss in his video game of redemption and because he can’t get to the final boss, he’s f—ing pissed.”
Instead of rallying around Ariana, several members of the Vanderpump Rules cast called her out for not being in a better mindset that would allow her to engage with Sandoval on camera while filming season 11.
Lala Kent specifically had enough of Ariana refusing to film with Sandoval, who also fired back at his ex’s claim that his remorse was “performative.”
“Ariana’s just going around saying that I’m not being honest, that I’m performative,” Sandoval said, later adding, “Ariana’s f—ing performative. She doesn’t like any of these motherf—ers. So she can f— off saying I’m performative.”
Sandoval then informed the group that Ariana “talks s—” about them which is when Lala lost her cool.
“This happened to her. The world rallied around her,” she said. “She now thinks she is Beyoncé. It’s bulls— that she can’t film with someone because she stays under the same roof. It’s a lot. It’s a lot that she’s saying don’t f— with Tom Sandoval… But, I’m gonna sleep down the hall from Tom Sandoval.”
“I get it, he f—ing cheated,” Lala added. “You did a really f—ing s—y thing. It was weird how you looked us all in the eye and said a lot of s—. But, he did not kill somebody.”
“I never in my life experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly she becomes God,” she concluded.
In her confessional, Lala elaborated on why she found Ariana leaving the party early to be “a slap in the face.”
“This is what we do,” she explained. “We’ve been doing this for most of our adult lives. We’ve all experienced high highs and low lows and there’s a responsibility that comes with living your life on camera. You have to be truthful, even when it’s extremely uncomfortable…”
“I don’t feel that Tom and Ariana were ever honest about their relationship until Tom was caught cheating,” she continued. “And you think you get to be honest for one moment and then you get to pack it all away and all is good, f— that.”
Despite Lala’s criticism, Ariana doubled down on keeping her bounderies with Sandoval in place.
“We live these difficult parts of our lives on camera but if it’s something that actually really mattered to you regardless, you would do it anyways,” she shared in a confessional. “He’s never tried to talk to me off camera, he could have written something in a f—ing letter and left it on the kitchen counter and I could have read it at my leisure. But if you would only do it on camera, to me, you just showed your true colors.”
The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 three-part reunion kicks off Tuesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
