RHOBH fan favorite Kathy Hilton is being slammed online for not taking Sutton Stracke’s recent health scare seriously.
RHOBH fans are dragging Kathy Hilton for laughing at Sutton Stracke’s health scare during part three of the season 13 reunion.
During the final episode of the RHOBH season 13 reunion, Sutton suffered a medical emergency which left her shaking due to high blood pressure shortly after Kathy made a surprise appearance at the reunion.
On Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Kathy shrugged off Sutton’s medical issue, calling the incident a “hot flash” and was seen scrolling on her phone while engaging in a casual conversation with Erika Jayne about how she “didn’t get to enjoy” the holiday season.
Then when Sutton said she was “scared” Kathy asked her why. She then joked that Sutton pretended to be ill because Sutton knew she “was about to go after her next.”
“I was about to [go after her]. I think she knew it. It’s a good way to get out of being here,” Kathy said with a laugh.
Fans weren’t impressed by Kathy’s lack of empathy, with many ranting about the socialite’s disgusting comments on Twitter.
“KATHY IS WILD FOR THIS! Like what the actual… Did she just drag Sutton while she’s like having a panic attack and then carry on having a casual convo with Erika about the holidays and replying to some texts?” one fan wrote.
“It’s rude and uncaring. Erika cares about no one but herself,” another RHOBH fan complained, while a third viewer called Kathy’s response “disgusting and heartless.”
“So she willed her blood pressure and pulse up to dangerous level. Man, she is amazing,” another RHOBH fan commented.
On the reunion stage Sutton was assessed by paramedics before being taken to the hospital.
“I ended up going to the emergency room with truly one of my best friends, Garcelle [Beauvais],” Sutton told Page Six this week.
As for Sutton’s diagnosis, the 55-year-old revealed it was a mix of exhaustion and dehydration.
“I was working a lot between New York and LA, back and forth, working on my new company, Sutton Brands,” she explained.
She notes that she was also fighting a “severe case of bronchitis,” which affected her for weeks leading up to the reunion.
“I was really down for about 10 days. I had to shut my life down, which is very difficult for me,” she said. “And it took about six weeks for me to feel 100 percent again.”
Although it appeared that Kathy did not care about Sutton’s medical emergency on camera, Sutton initially insisted that’s wasn’t the case at all while chatting with Page Six.
“We’re very good friends. Kathy was like, ‘What’s going on?’ Kathy was calling me when I got out of the emergency room that night, checking on me,” Sutton revealed. “The entire cast checked on me, not just one day but several days.”
However, she later threw some shade at Kathy’s reunion comments on Twitter.
“When your real friend knows you’re not that great of an actress! And got really sick…” Sutton tweeted.
