From the looks of it Pump Rules stars Scheana Shay and Lala Kent may have a serious case of jealousy.
The two Bravolebs seem to be quite envious of Ariana Madix amid her post Scandoval success as detailed on the most recent episode of Vanderpump Rules.
On last Tuesday’s episode of Pump Rules, Lala Kent made some scathing comments about Ariana Madix as she comforted Scheana Shay.
It was an emotional episode of the entire Pump Rules cast but specifically Scheana who got emotional over attempting to mend her friendship with Tom Sandoval while not upsetting his ex-girlfriend and her best friend, Ariana.
During the Pump Rules cast trip to Lake Tahoe, Scheana and Sandoval were partnered together for a meditation activity. If that situation wasn’t emotional enough for Scheana, her day also included getting called “fake” and a “flip flopper” on social media after a photo she took with Sandoval and fans in Lake Tahoe went viral. In the photo, Scheana arm was wrapped around Sandoval, however she explains that the Pump Rules villain jumped into the picture at the last moment. She also insisted it didn’t mean anything.
“Has Ariana come to your defense at all?” Lala asked an emotional Scheana, who replied, “No, of course not.”
“When I try to talk to Ariana and say that I’m struggling, she either dismisses how I feel or tells me I shouldn’t feel this way because he’s a bad person,” Scheana continued. “It’s like, I know, but I’m telling you I’m struggling.”
“Your feelings are valid. Ariana is doing just fine. She’s booking everything under the sun, she’s having her moment and she deserves that,” Lala said.
While Shay said she was “so happy” for Ariana, who was landing gig and gig including Dancing With the Stars, she admits to having difficulty with everything being about Ariana.
“She does deserve everything she’s getting … I’m so happy for her she did not go down a dark spiral. I just am hurting still,” Scheana added.
Speaking of Dancing With the Stars, elsewhere in the episode, Scheana admitted that she was a little jealous of Ariana landing the gig as it has always been a dream of hers to compete on the show.
Scheana admits to Lisa Vanderpump that she was shocked upon learning Ariana got cast on DWTS.
“When I did Dancing With the Stars you said to me ‘That’s what I want more than anything,’” Lisa acknowledged.
“This year I started taking [a] dance class. I was preparing in case, you know, I did get it,” Scheana said to Lisa before taking a shady jab at Ariana in her confessional.
Scheana said:
“I am so happy for her but it’s like I can be happy for her and sad for me at the same time. It was kind of a punch to the gut for sure. And like good for her. I mean, she has come such a long way from being my backup dancer.”
Going to back to Scheana conversation with Lala, the soon-to-be mom of two then told Scheana that it was time for Ariana “acknowledge what you’ve been through.”
She expanded on her comment in her confessional interview:
“It’s time for Ariana to pull her head from out of her own ass. She needs to come back to reality and remember who her friends are and what they’ve done for her. Scheana has been ride or day since day 1 for Ariana and now it’s time for Ariana to return the favor.”
The episode concluded with Scheana breaking down into tears: “Why can I never have one moment where it can be about me?!”
She continued, noting that she was “hurt” after losing her friendship with Sandoval, who she considered a “very, very dear friend”
The situation was made ever more difficult as it felt that she was not “allowed to feel anything, because it’s only about Ariana.”
After Tuesday’s episode of Pump Rules, many fans felt Lala and Scheana’s comments were fueled by jealousy.
Lala clarified her comments while appearing on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“I mean that a lot people came to [Ariana’s] defense, and now it time to come to Scheana’s defense,” the 33-year-old explained.
It’s unclear if Bravo fans or Ariana will agree but it’s likely this will all play out at the reunion. Can’t wait to see it.
