Raquel Leviss Blasts Tom Sandoval For Playing the Victim Post-Scandoval; Reveals ‘Main Reason’ She Quit Vanderpump Rules

Raquel Leviss was “repulsed” to see Tom Sandoval playing the “victim” in post-Scandoval interviews and reveals the “main reason” she quit VPR.

Vanderpump Rules alum Raquel Leviss, who now goes by her birth name Rachel Leviss, is finally speaking her truth on everything and anything related to Scandoval and her time on the hit Bravo show.

On Monday, Raquel Leviss released the second episode of her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue. During the episode, she touched upon a myriad of topics, including ex-Tom Sandoval, their affair, and the truth behind her exit from Vanderpump Rules.

To start, Raquel Leviss slammed Sandoval for continuing to play the “victim” in interviews almost ten months after the news of their eight-month-long affair came to light in March 2023.

“I know that he’s really trying to milk the victim role to make himself look better, I think, but in reality it’s making him look worse,” the 29-year-old said.

The former Bravo star accused Sandoval of trying to “playing the offensive” after learning that she would be coming out with her podcast.

Raquel Leviss gave her unfiltered opinion on Sandoval’s appearance on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp‘s Two Ts in a Pod podcast after playing a clip of the episode.

In the clip, Sandoval claimed he was “fully in love” with Raquel Leviss and that it was “heartbreaking” that they no longer had any kind of relationship.

The former SURver admits she listened to the podcast episode “maybe five times,” and it made her “sick.”

“I’ve never had this physical reaction before, but I felt like I was gonna be sick ’cause his voice repulsed me, and I’m like, ‘OK, this is a good sign,’” she continued.

While Raquel Leviss admits it felt “vindicating” hearing Sandoval say he missed her and that he loved her but notes that she still thought he was “victim blaming.”

“It seemed like he really did flip on me, and he really threw me under the bus, and he was OK with it, and it seemed like he was doing a lot of victim blaming and not taking accountability and owning it and maybe standing up for me a little bit,” she said.

Raquel added that if Sandoval “really did love me,” then he “would probably not say something like that.”

Meanwhile, Raquel Leviss reveals that the “main reason” she didn’t return to Vanderpump Rules for season 11 is because she didn’t feel she would be allowed to get her story across amid the fallout with her castmates post-Scandoval.

“The main reason why I didn’t wanna be a part of Season 11 is because I don’t wanna be with Tom, and I’ve made the decision to cut Tom out of my life. Going back to film the show, it would force me to interact with him, first of all, and I know I’m on the outskirts with all the other cast, so I wouldn’t get my story across,” Raquel explained.

“I really believe that the girls wouldn’t give me the time of day to let me open up to them, given my previous history with my interactions with them,” she continued. “So, because I would be on the outskirts with the cast, it would put me in the same boat as Tom, and Tom has a way with his words, and he would get back in my ear, and I could just … I know I’m not in the place where I’m completely strong enough to be able to resist that.”

“The risk versus reward: it’s too risky for me to go back. Especially at the most vulnerable state that I’ve ever been in, in my life,” the former Bravoleb concluded.

Vanderpump Rules premires on Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
