The Real Housewives of New Jersey is hands down one of the craziest and most volatile Real Housewives franchises on Bravo. Over the years, the RHONJ cast has engaged in table-flipping, hair-pulling, pool tossing, and so much more.
IN 2023 alone, Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral got into an altercation that turned physical. In years past, Bravo wouldn’t have blinked an eye at the altercation. However, with Bethenny Frankel’s “Reality Reckoning” shining a bright spotlight on Bravo and the Real Housewives, it wasn’t surprising that Bravo took swift action against Danielle and Jennifer by immediately suspending them from filming. Even though the suspension lasted less than a week, it’s more action than Bravo has taken in the past. For example, when Ashlee Holmes pulled Danielle Staub‘s hair during season three of RHONJ, or when Danielle pulled Margaret Josephs’ ponytail during season ten, Bravo took no action at all.
Speaking of Margaret Josephs, she’s more often than not a pot-stirrer on RHONJ.
Despite being the resident pot-stirrer with a book of secrets about all her cast members and their husbands, she has almost zero regrets about her antics during her seven seasons on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
In fact, the 56-year-old doesn’t regret even her most controversial moments on the show.
During a recent interview with Us Weekly, Margaret admitted that she didn’t think the season 9 moment when she and her husband, Joe Benigno, pushed Marty Caffrey into the pool at Jennifer Aydin’s house was “that bad.”
“I don’t want anyone to say, ‘Oh, that was violent.’ That wasn’t violent. You know what I mean? That was hijinks,” Margaret said of the pool incident with Marty.
As for her altercation with Danielle, Margaret admitted, “That was very, very bad.”
However, she placed all the blame on Danielle, saying, “You know what, she came in there looking for a fight, the whole thing, it was so bad.”
She continued, “It came from behind. I shouldn’t have even talked to her.”
When it came to calling Jennifer Aydin’s lips “a monkey’s asshole,” Margaret defended her comment.
“That’s what came to my mind. It was the way her lip liner was on her lips. I didn’t think it was that bad,” Marge confessed.
