Kyle Richards reveals if she wants sister Kathy Hilton back on RHOBH after the former friend says her return to Bravo is in her baby sister’s hands.
Longtime Bravo star Kyle Richards opens up about whether or not she’d like to see her oldest sister, Kathy Hilton, return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Of course, I am [interested],” she told The Messenger. “Obviously, with us being in a better place, that makes sense. It wouldn’t make sense if we weren’t speaking. It’s hard enough.”
The RHOBH OG quickly noted that she’s the only Beverly Hills housewife to have not one but two siblings on the show.
Kyle’s sister Kim Richards starred on RHOBH from seasons 1 through 5.
“I just want to make sure that it’s something that won’t damage our relationship,” she added. “Of course, I’m open to that. She’s amazing on the show, and she makes me laugh.”
Kim, who appears on RHOBH multiple times during season 13, encouraged Kyle and Kathy to mend fences, noting that Kim was “definitely trying very hard.”
Now that Kathy and Kyle’s relationship is back on track, the RHOBH OG is currently focused on protecting their relationship as season 13 plays out and has warned family members about what they might see.
“I made a point to talk to my family and just saying, ‘Listen, you’re gonna see the show when things come up because we hadn’t healed yet. If you remember, it was seven months ago, and we were in a different place. Please remember that and what we have now — what it feels like to have each other,'” she recalled.
Kathy Hilton recently admitted that she is on board to return to RHOBH but says the final decision will have to be made by her youngest sister and RHOBH OG, Kyle Richards.
“I’ve just finished Season 2 [of Paris in Love], and I think that’s up to Kyle,” Kathy told The Messenger. “And if it’s organic and it works out. I never say no. Never say never.”
The socialite appeared on RHOBH as a friend of the Housewives for two seasons. After much speculation, Kathy signed on to join the season 12 cast of RHOBH and quickly became a fan favorite with her kooky behavior. However, the tides turned by season 13 when Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne attempted to expose Kathy’s much-discussed off-camera meltdown in Aspen. The drama caused a rift between Kathy and Kyle and ultimately led to Kathy exiting the show.
