RHOA star Kenya Moore is officially a single woman after finalizing her divorce from her husband, Marc Daly, following a three-year legal battle.
After Kenya Moore living in a “bonafide state of separation” from her husband, Marc Daly, since 2019, the RHOA star can finally call herself a single woman yet again!
PEOPLE reports that Kenya and Marc are officially divorced.
“After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce,” Kenya said in a statement on December 12th. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most.”
She continued, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn.”
The Bravo star concluded: “As a hopeless romantic, I still believe my forever person exists and know I’ll have my happily ever after ending after all.”
Kenya and Marc wed in June 2017 and welcomed their daughter Brooklyn in November 2018. The RHOA couple split for the first time in September 2019 before reconciling in February 2020. However, by January 2021, Marc revealed that he and Kenya had split again.
The longtime reality TV star filed for divorce from Marc in May 2021. The two had not signed a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot, which unfortunately complicated their divorce.
In January of 2023, Kenya appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, stating that her split from Marc felt like “the world’s longest divorce.”
During the RHOA season 14 reunion, Kenya confirmed she was still not divorced from Marc.
“He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at a standstill, so until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to go on,” Kenya said, shutting down reports that the holdup in filing their divorce didn’t come down to alimony or child support.
Then, at BravoCon 2023, the RHOA star declared: “I’m saying it right now: I will be single and divorced before 2024.”
It looks like Kenya’s wish came true!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in 2024.
