BravoCon: Andy Cohen Didn’t Want Tom Sandoval to Get Booed

The Big Daddy of Bravo, Andy Cohen, was NOT happy that Bravo fans booed Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval at BravoCon 2023.

During Monday’s live episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, host Andy Cohen opened up about Tom Sandoval getting booed by Bravo fans at BravoCon‘s Vanderpump Rules panel.

Andy Cohen said:

“I was really upset. I’m jumping around about my thoughts about the weekend. I was really, I was not happy that Tom Sandoval, you know, I had texted him the day before. I said, ‘I’m really worried you’re gonna get booed. Do you have any kind of plan?’ I said, ‘Lisa Rinna got booed last year, and she kind of-‘”

The Bravo executive’s Andy Cohen Live co-host, John Hill, interjected: “He’s been getting booed for a year. He’s used to it. Right?”

“I understand. I know, but you know, this weekend is meant to be; you don’t want them to get booed on your watch, and I get it, and I understand what you’re saying too, but it’s like, look. To your point, it’s been a year of him being booed, so at some point, we’re gonna have to let him back into society to assimilate with the world, you know what I mean?” the Watch What Happens Live host explained.

He continued:

“I think it was, eh, but he took it on the chin. I was talking to him before the Bravos and just kind of doing a little check-in with him. I saw him today, and he was in such a great mood. I think he even wound up the weekend getting a ton of fan love as it went on, and I think people kind of saw him and listen, he made a terrible, stupid mistake and hurt a lot of people, and you know, at some point I think people will, you know, kind of maybe not hurl things at him, you know?”

As Vanderpump Rules fans know, Tom Sandoval engaged in an almost year-long affair with co-star Raquel Leviss behind Ariana Madix‘s back. When Ariana discovered the affair in March of 2023, she ended her nearly decade-long relationship with Tom.

Now, fans will see the aftermath of Tom and Ariana’s breakup and Tom’s affair with Raquel playout during season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.

On Friday, at BravoCon, fans got their first look at the drama to come during season 11 of VPR.

Before Bravo aired the Vanderpump Rules sneak peek, the season 11 cast arrived on stage for their BravoCon panel. Ariana received a massive round of applause when she arrived on stage, while Tom Sandoval was met with boos from the crowd.

The Tom Tom co-owner was booed again when he was asked “what he’d do differently” when it came to Scandoval.

Pump Rules will return to Bravo for season 11 in January.
