RHOC alum Kelly Dodd claims that Tamra Judge isn’t being a “good friend” to Shannon Beador in the aftermath of her DUI.
“I have to say, Vicki Gunvalson is a very good friend at this time to her – Tamra, not so much,” Kelly Dodd said on Tuesday’s episode of her YouTube show “Daily Smash” with husband, Rick Leventhal.
The former Real Housewives of Orange County star explained that Vicki is being a real support system for Shannon following her arrest for DUI and hit-and-run on Saturday night in Newport Beach, CA.
“She had her hair person there, so I’m glad someone is there with her,” Kelly Dodd noted.
Kelly Dodd, who starred on RHOC until 2020, revealed that she dropped off food, including stuffed peppers and lasagna, to Shannon’s paparazzi-laden house on Tuesday morning.
“It’s just heartbreaking,” Kelly elaborated. “You feel bad for her, but could you imagine if that was you and there was paparazzi hanging outside your door? Like, could you imagine? That would be horrific.”
The 47-year-old then claimed that Shannon was having dinner with two friends just hours before her arrest.
She also stated that she does “not condone” Shannon’s decisions but wants to give her former co-star “grace at this time.”
“I know Shannon. She’s a smart cookie. She will not do this ever again. We all make mistakes,” she added.
As for why Vicki has been a better friend to Shannon than Tamra, Kelly didn’t elaborate. However, Shannon’s rep tells Page Six: “Tamra has been supportive of Shannon. I wouldn’t take everything Kelly Dodd says as fact.”
Currently, Tamra is the only RHOC cast member who has discussed Shannon’s arrest for DUI.
“I feel like I’m going to throw up,” Tamra said of Shannon’s legal woes on Monday’s episode of her and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast.
Tamra said she’s “shook” and feels “bad” for Shannon, noting that Shannon never mentioned her arrest when they spoke on Sunday.
“She didn’t say a word to me — nothing,” Tamra said. “She said, ‘It’s been a rough couple of days,’ and that’s all she told me.”
