Paul Connell is dishing on season 14 of RHONJ and how the cast is dealing with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice not speaking amid their feud.
On September 13, The U.S. Sun chatted with Dolores Catania‘s boyfriend, Paul Connell, about season 14 of RHONJ.
Dolores already teased that some major drama has been going down since filming for season 14 of RHONJ began in early August.
“Stay tuned. Well, listen, we never disappoint. Has New Jersey ever disappointed? Every year, we say, how do we top it?” Dolores told Page Six at the MTV Music Video Awards on Tuesday, September 12, in New York City.
Now, Paul is dishing more on the drama that’s been going down while filming season 14.
Paul opened up about how filming has changed as Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas aren’t speaking or interacting with Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe Gorga.
“The settings are different because it’s acknowledgeable now that certain people don’t talk,” Paul explained. “We don’t really notice it, all of a sudden, the day is over, and they’re like, ‘Okay, it’s a wrap, goodnight.’ We’re not focused on that. Everyone is focused on whatever they have to do.”
The Irish-born entrepreneur also revealed that he’s involved in some drama with the RHONJ husbands this season. He notes that Louie and Joe Gorga‘s drama has affected the men in the group.
He continued: “I am involved in the drama a little bit. It’s me staying true to who I am as a person. It’s not bad. It’s me doing what I believe is right. I’m finding a little bit of a voice. People are standing their ground on what their beliefs are.”
Back in August, AllAboutTRH EXCLUSIVELY revealed that John Fuda and Paulie Connell got into a disagreement over Louie Ruelas at Jennifer Fessler’s birthday party on August 15. Louie did not attend the party as he was out of town for work commitments.
A source told AllAboutTRH:
“John was getting very aggravated with the fact that Paul is friends with Louie but Paul isn’t the type who is going to take sides or be told who he can and can’t be friends with. Paulie was trying to have a logical conversation with John Fuda but John wasn’t having it. A lot of people thought it was funny that these two were disagreeing about a man who wasn’t even at the party.”
Paul and John were able to squash their beef at Joe Gorga’s birthday party on August 19.
“Paul let it be known that he isn’t picking sides and is going to be friends with everyone. John seemed to accept that, and they both moved forward and ended off the night on a good note,” AllAboutTRH’s source explained.
Speaking of beef, Paul also revealed whether or not he thinks the Gorgas and Giudices will ever reconcile. Paul said: “I have hope in everything. There is hope in everything.”
Dolores echoed similar sentiments while chatting with The U.S. Sun at the VMA Awards on Tuesday.
“Everyone will have to have their own opinion when they see it,” Dolores said when asked about Teresa and Melissa’s season 14 drama. She also remains hopeful that the family will eventually reconcile: “Never say never.”
